hey yall is the rule of thumb still 1 legendary in the first 10 packs of a set then 1 in 20 packs after that? i ask due to that fact my girlfriend wanted to prove me wrong and show her luck is bad so she logged in opened 9 packs from RR and the 3 we all got this week and pulled 1 epic and some rares and the rest were commons and i told her next pack you should get a legendary so she bought 2 packs for 1.99 to prove me wrong… which she did… he got nothing, did they change the rules or am i sucking all the rn-jesusness out of our household 
You’re still guaranteed a legendary in the first 10 packs of a new set. After that, the average is supposedly 1 in 20, but I find that it’s closer to 1 in 30-35.
well she stoped playing long before RR came out opened 11 packs from it 9 given by blizzard for free and 2 she bought and she got 1 epic 13 rare and the rest were commons
The three packs this week weren’t Rumble. She’s at 8 packs.

The average pack results for rarity over time are as follows…
Epics: 1 every 5 packs
Legendary: 1 every 20 packs
Individual results may vary. There are generally acknowledged, but not officially stated, ‘pity timers’ as well (10 packs for Epics and 40 for Legendary) which supposedly a person cannot go past before a drop happens.

when she loged in she had 9 rr backs when i had her log in after she got the 3 she had a total of 9 RR packs and 3 from the past expasions then bought two RR packs.
I don’t know for sure, but every player was given a free LOA legendary + their spirits, so maybe that counts towards the first 10 legendary too?
also, I also made a mistake counting packs once because of a random occurence (sometimes blizzard gives free packs for whatever reason). You should double check how many RR legendaries your gf has in her collection.
