It is NOT gone by a long shot.
They should have Hall of Famed the card.
Due to Naga Sand Wich and Tortollian Pilgrim, it will continue to get played.
Nothing was solved, it was just slowed down some.
It will still get played tons because wouldn’t you play a card that makes Kalagos and Antonidas 1 mana so you can spend 50 mana on a turn?
You will and this card is not dead. Not even close.
I have to agree 5 was too low, and 7 is too high… 6 might not be good either… Perhaps changing the cost was the wrong kind of nerf… Instead maybe they should have changed what it does…

Cant say I would miss you but I had some fun combos when you were introduced to the game. You were my first legendary from Boomsday Project.

Which is one of the reasons I was all for something like:
6 mana - change the cost of all minions in your deck to (3).
Power turn is bumped up by one, you can no longer play Aoe with more than one minion and Luna can only cycle through two of them.

4 mana - change the cost of all minions in your deck to (1) but removes all card text.
(aka, self silence while in your hand)
Or could change the text to say, If your desk has 15 or more spells in your deck, your minions have cost 1, so this card could still work in cyclone mage, giants 0 mana isn’t so bad considering that you could use them for three mana anyway
With my start of tests yesterday I think that we can make a “big spell package” were Luna’s goes and can be cheat or discounted consistently.
I feel like big spell mage is more of a package than a deck this time and it would consist of:
2 naga sandwich
2 tortolan pilgrim
1 flamestrike
1 blizzard
1 Luna’s pocket galaxy
2 puzzlebox of yogg saron
1 kalecgos
Like a package that makes sure that your lategame is powerfull.
There is a decent amount of stuff you still can do with the other 20 slots without lose consistency.

Mage is still strong. It’s basically what it was before they buffed it. Ctrl warrior which did ok against it was nerfed too which helped mage in a way.
