hi , i just to share with you that i play xyrella all day and i can’t get one win versus all the other classes in twist , so i think it’s a balance problem and i get killed sometimes turn 3 or turn 4 versus totem deck .
Xyrella has a draw problem, a lot of the heroes have ways to generate or draw, but she has next to none, so once you enter the mid-game you are playing with your scraps and hoping the enemy uses enough of their big spells and minions that can take down your win conditions like your Titan and Colossal to squeeze out a win
The deck wasn’t updated with the recent patches for the July Twist season. Most of the other decks and the new ones have been made much better. A few have not but overall Twist is the best it has been since launch. I would just avoid that deck. the 60 health win conditional just isn’t viable against the majority of the decks.
it took them too tlong to remove the snake weakness
Twist, who could have guessed it, is an unbalanced mess. The decks that are built from old cards, like C’thun, are generally weak, while those that use newest cards, like Arfus, are much more powerful. There are also normal Team 5 balance issues, like who thought that it is good idea to give Arfus not only easy way to spend corpses but also to attach mana cheat to it.
“Twist is best balanced since launch” huh? That’s a faint praise
It is what it is. It’s got good balance in general now. I’m not saying the mode is the second coming but i am bored of playing Druids all day in standard. Twist at least allows me to play some interestingly designed decks. Most of the decks from last month have new cards pools and they play much better than they did previously or they are not as powerful. Arfus is not a tyrant any longer and Al’Akir lost all the early legendary elementals.
I might have yesterday’s info as I will be honest, after the mess that was last season I have not kept up with the changes.
I thought Twist was pretty balanced too until yesterday. Marin is too prominent and way too easy to pilot. 80% of my games are against him and it’s laudable how often they have the answer to everything since his hero power can give infinite mana and infinite draw. I think older twist heroes like Xyrella are going to dwindle and lose when new heroes like Marin dominant
That deck just plays out long against some of the decks. The faster decks do fine against it. Overall it’s not doing much in the way of dealing with opponents boars well and the real power of the deck is up to random chance.
I’m actually doing well with the Tauren Champion. Currently Diamond 3 on apac with it. Might try one of the others when i switch to NA either Tamsin or N’zoth. Tamsin has such an interesting mechanic.
