My fellow hearthstone players it has come to my attention that priest sucks as5,
now im not saying the class is bad in inof itself , but the classic cards are weak and this expansion EVIL has given no support to the class whatsoever.
And i can hear you all now saying but priest op they got tons of op cards, no no they dont all the good cards have gone to wild and were stuck in an awkward situation where if you want to play hearthstone you either pick Hunter or rougue , warrior is beatable, shaman dies to removal easy, mabye play druid if you like to be a cuck…
Anyways Priest is my favorite class and it crushes me to see it die as slowly and painfully as it can.
The only time priest was god tier broken was with raza and it got nerfed the next patch so its been horrible tier 3 class ever since, now… its just suffering…

My friends we have to do something to get blizzard to see what is happening and work to make a change

Priest is my favorite too, but good riddance. The resurrect mechanic and OTK mind blast stuff was ridiculously stupid and I am glad it’s gone.

It can wait until next expansion and hopefully we have some support to help out Hakkar priest.

Alex + mind blast is not an OTK. it is two turns and you have the chance to heal up or kill them as they just spent all their mana reducing you to 15 health.

Resurrect priest was pretty weak. It quickly got countered once people started learning to play against it.

An even more obnoxious deck.

You do know that mind blast OTK was a thing, right? and it did not involved Alex.

Are you sure you were even playing last expansion?

Literal OTK Priest was very much a thing and the final week w/ Vargoth was ><;

That had counters put in this expansion FYI so it could be tech’d against by any control deck now if it ever became popular. Also there is no way to cheat Hakkar’s trigger now (RIP Umbra) so you’d be able to respond to it now with a Silence or transform depending on class.

I want to see:
Hakkar Priest and Rush Warrior
INSTEAD of:
Bomb Warrior and Inner Fire Priest.

Hakkar Priest would play Archivist Elysiana to avoid their own Hakkar Bloods and use Princess Talanji/steal cards. It would be better vs aggro than Bomb Warrior and could be teched vs as other control, but it could fall back on Talanji/steal.

Rush Warrior would crush aggro and be decent mid range.

—Just my Opinion…Cards may not support this.

i mean anything other than the gaping whole that is the priest 3,4,6 drops
but yea id love to see new combos in priest and other classes aswell , like warrior is not fun to play against its just fill bombs until you die if you want to win you have to kill him turn 7 or 8 thats kind of anoying but tolerable

Good riddance to Clone (Mind Blast) Priest, Big Priest and Inner Fire Priest. I just hope they get nerfed in Wild.

Speaking as someone who loves Priest, definitely in my top 3 favourite all-time classes.

Currently I’m enjoying Silence Priest, I might get tired of it quickly as it seems pretty linear, but it’s a nice deck to see come back. I’ve got high hopes for Hakkar and Bwonsamdi moving forward this year, maybe some kind of Shadow Priest, too.

Good riddance I say, whenever priest has a tier 1 deck, the meta basically sucks because the class has - at its peak - extremely overpowered aoes and heals.

If by “Crazy Good” you mean “Tier 3” then yeah, that’s probably what will happen. The class is still lacking a solid win condition of any form, because several classes now have the tools to outlast Priest in the Control game. Which is why the class adopted these multiple turn “OTKs” last year; it couldn’t grind out wins like it used to.

Taunt resurrect OTK (innerfire) priest is doing just fine. I’m sure people will come up with more viable archetypes as time goes on.

Innerfire and mindblast is literally only thing from the basic and classic set that remotely stands out as viable. Don’t blame Priests for using what little they have to make things work. It literally took them 5 years to get this mechanic as a viable deck in the meta.

The core set sucks, and priests will always be trash unless they can rotate some good board clears into the standard and basic sets. Until then, they ride whatever new expansions give them.

What’s so bad about silence priest? It feels like it’s at least tier two, and it has pretty reasonable matchups against several common decks, including rogue and warrior. I built a deck with all the early game big minions and added a bit of late game and so far its working out well enough for me.

Which is funny, because Inner Fire was always meme tier before Shadow Visions and Mindblast never sees play unless there’s a way to manacheat and kill the opponent from 30…
