Implemented but Unavailable Cosmetics

  • The 30 Years of Warcraft card back was added to the game during the Warcraft anniversary celebrations (October / November, 2024). However, despite being implemented, it has never been made accessible. Similarly, the Druid hero skin Holiday Hazelbark was introduced in December, seemingly intended as a reward for a Christmas-themed special event. The description even states that it is “obtainable by participating in a special event”, yet no such event ever took place.

  • The situation is even worse in Battlegrounds. Several emotes, including Bookworm Elise, Confused Bigglesworth, Pinocchio Blingtron, Sparkhoarder Togwaggle, and Vanndar Cavedweller, have been in the game for years but remain unobtainable. The same issue applies to an entire series of Murloc-themed hero skins, all created by the artist Mooncolony. Despite their presence in the cosmetic section, there has never been a way to acquire them, whether through a season pass, shop purchase, or event participation.

Is there any information on when (or if) these cosmetics will finally become available? It’s frustrating to see content added but never accessible to players.

  • The 30 Years of Warcraft card back is finally available as part of the Heroes of Warcraft Bundle (April 8, 2025).
