Imp King Rafaam summoned 5 units: 3 Fiery Imps and 2 Ring Matrons. This happened in an arena game where the enemy Warlock played Imp King Rafaam and got 5 units from its battlecry. All 5 units, including the Ring Matrons, got the +2/+2 buff. Happy to share a screenshot if needed.
Imp King Rafaam will buff every imp on the player’s board, even those that were not summoned by Imp King Rafaam, so a screenshot of buffed imps wouldn’t really be helpful. Are you certain that the 5th imp was not already on the board?
Ring Matron is not an imp (it’s tagged as a demon) so I don’t understand why the unit would be summoned in the first place. Even if it was already on the board, it shouldn’t get a buff since again, it’s not an imp.
Ring Matron is an imp. All imps are demons. Not all demons are imps.
It would be nice if there was some indication on the cards which ones are considered imps, but they decided it was more fun for us to have to figure it out. It’s generally based on the card art
