I just lost a match because I prematurely played a card that was burning because I thought it was its last round before deletion.
Turns out I had 1 more round of burning for my cards.
The card I played prematurely would have won me the game if I had waited one more round.
There is no reason this can’t be done. It is done on many many many other cards, don’t make me list them.
“Just learn to keep track and count it yourself scrub”
Fine. Then remove all notifications on all other conditional duration cards and you can count them too. ie. Queen Azshara

I agree, but maybe the intent was to make it as disruptive as possible by not displaying that info.

They also need it to show the burned cards. They said they would fix it, but obviously it’s not a priority. Imagine if Mutanus didn’t show which card he ate, or cards discarded were not shown…

I can see the which cards my opponent lost when they don’t play them within the 3 turns, it’s on the replay scroll on the left.

IMMOLATE- Should Show Turns Left
I agree. The change in intensity of the burning effect is a helpful indicator, but it shouldn’t be that hard to have some way to display that information clearly, i.e. showing the actual number.
Those other cards have the turns remaining printed as part of the card text with the number of turns as a variable. Immolated cards don’t. They’d have to add the text onto those cards somehow or at least find some other way to advise the player how long they have before the card burns.
Ouch. That sucks. Sorry, dude.

Cleric
We talked about it the other day.
Drop 5 cost Xyrella, 2 mana heal, 1 mana Cleric, discover Shard, next turn win.
I was kind of dumb because it didn’t help, at all, to play him, AT ALL lol… I just didn’t wanna see it burn.

This card plays into the fear of missing out. People do not want to see their cards burned. They want to avoid this so badly that they will intentionally misplay. It’s a trap. Sometimes, you just have to say goodbye to a few cards.
But, yeah, a counter would be great.

I made a post like this (or maybe it was just a reply somewhere in this forum) the first time someone played it against me.
The card doesn’t specify if it’s at the start of your 3rd turn or at the end, or if it’s at the start of the 3rd turn of the player who played immolate (you only have 2 turns).
It seems very easy to implement a counter, since objectives and dormant minions have one; I think a counter for immolate is mandatory to make it clearer and maybe also a rewarding of the card.
(in 3 turns it’s a very confusing wording, even more confusing than echo, if you know what I mean
)

I really agree. The intensity increasing is a cool effect, ngl, but it’s opaque in determining how much time is remaining.

pfft
inmolate flavor text is better

yea i had been pretty baffled by this aswell when returning. it´s just inconsistent for no reason and lowers accessability.
albeit i think they just gather all their biggest ***** in one room to do the warlock design, so that fits.

How can we make a class specifically for griefers? That’s what warlock has become. And it’s a shame because it was my favorite class.
I want more big demons and synergetic cards. I don’t want to aim to piss my opponent off every game.
Murloc Warlock is… Alright. But, Murloc Shaman is simply better.

yea i also don´t get why they think this is the way to go for the class. It´s not really the identity of warlock in wow (albeit you can make a claim that agonizing and needless cruelty had been the original warlock identity when they were corrupted by the burning legion).
And if anything it always makes me want to play the game less if i encounter a few warlocks in a row, no matter if i win or lose. Don´t think i´m alone in this.
they should go back to making those more intricate interesting warlock decks like plot-twist instead of tier 3ish decks that are just horrible to play against.

Yup. And it’s boring to play, to boot.

Demonhunter got more Big Demon Support in a year, than Warlock since Release, lol.
Possessed Lackey was 5 Mana 2/2 with Deathrattle: Recruit a Demon. Was nerfed to 6 Mana. But Demonhunter got 9 Mana 7/9 Taunt that Recruits a Demon every turn…
That’s not even fair.

I get that demons are given to Demon Hunter for obvious reasons. The last big demon package we warlocks had was fun. It wasn’t very good, but it was fun. Now, we have jack for demons. I couldn’t build a Big Demon Warlock of I wanted to.
This is, of course, all my preference.

a 5 mana that summons a 10 mana demon on turn 5 is stronger than a 9 mana demon that summons a 10 mana demon on turn 9.
But yeh, dh got a crazy big demon support and it wasn’t even used; it would hve been great in warlock, especially since warlock had Willow

Finley is a counter. Not a great one, but if he’s gonna burn a crucial card, it works. Idk about standard, or if he’s run in any decks there, only play wild
