You have now read the decklist for 75% of all players in the new brawl.
Congrats Blizz, you have made the worst pre release event I have ever seen.

That’s not just the decklist. That’s literally the exact play sequence as well.
Use aggro and throw crater gator in if you have it, though if you’re complaining about imbueadin you’re probably trying to use a meta deck that most likely has restricted cards
oh yes draw 2 cards out of 30 cards and play them exactly right before the pally will play them, meanwhile their deck is so good and refined. with tutor drawing they will draw everything they need while you have an empty hand trying to topdeck a card to stop them from healing for one turn when we all know they only run that card to deal 30 damage and not to actually heal. who needs healing when you have a full board all the time. haha youre funny.
They banned the paladin imbue cards and Ursol for the brawl today. Should be safe to queue into murloc paladin instead.
Too bad my free run is already shot losing to 3 imbue paladin decks.
LOL true, but i was playing frost DK and did well against the murloc quest. i have zero chance against the imbue pally as frost DK

This is what I used before they did the bans, went 5-3, none of the losses were against Imbue paladin. The deck isn’t even that great if you ask me.
Oh look, an imbue deck. What a great way to welcome the new expansion.
I appreciate the offer to help. Im just teasing blizz for their poorly planned launch game mode.
As consistent as it normally is, when the algorithm means for you to lose it does just that.
For the pre release brawls, it’s highly unlikely you pull enough new stuff to get what you need to play new decks, so if your goal is winning, it will almost always be better to go with the previous expansion’s mechanics, as you likely have everything, and if you don’t, you can craft the gaps.
Absolutely correct. I’m just astonished they havent in all this time designed a mode that showcases the new set to encourage buying it. Instead they put this out. This release was just particularly bad because of the power creep of imbue.
It’s tough to do.
You need a format that doesn’t require new cards, so you can queue into it and see what other people are having fun with. The mode also needs to encourage you to spend money to get cards rather than using gold/dust stockpiles. And the new cards in partial decks need to look strong enough that people want to use them now.
That’s tough to pull off, which is why the pre release brawls are fairly flat.
The Tavern Brawl is actually a great insight on what the devs think is good and what is bad.
The fact they banned cards in other meta decks to prevent them from being played fully and left Imbue Paladin completely unchecked is a massive tell on how out of touch they are on the deck. They think it is absolutely fine as is. They only just banned the Imbue Paladin deck a day later after they saw the influx of people going 6-0 and forcing them to acknowledge the deck is incredibly consistent.
You can tell they had absolutely no idea the deck was that good before today.
Completely clueless.
I think it more shows how completely oblivious they are to the power of tutor effects in the game.
All I am playing against is imbue Pally and nothing I do matters. They just play this and I die. It is so boring.
Don’t worry, Imbue paladin will be replaced by murloc paladin after release
Don’t think so. After playing with and against both, murloc has a tad more vulnerability to wipes and removal. Its still really strong but i think second to imbue.
how ? arent those banned ?
Not to mention murloc paladin is restricted to the brawl right now, wait until it can be used with the full standard card pool
