Broken deck problem solved without nuking the deck.
Best suggestion I’ve seen yet, that might just work
Make the priest imbue cost 1 while you’re at it.
Might as well just make players auto concede games against Arena Priest.
Maybe the upcoming rework will make Arena not a terrible game mode. Until then though, I won’t apologize for completely disregarding Arena when it comes to card design for Standard.
Hearthstone never has cards designed for Arena. There are some that are occasionally strong, but not on purpose. By comparison, MTG directly makes Limited a subset goal of any given expansion.
I rarely play arena so I don’t understand what this has to do with what I’m talking about
Arena is Standard. It’s the same format. Anything you do to Standard affects Arena.
Changes need to have Arena in mind.
Well, at least it should. Seems the playerbase disagrees.
except the arena only cards designed for arena
This is not true, there are cards exclusive to arena, currently I think there are two, Wayward Probe which has battlecry and deathrattle get a random starship piece, and Fleeing Treant which imbues and makes your next hero power cost zero i think.
plus all those cards in the past for the arena events where they made a ton of fun and unique cards, im not sure if you were here for that
i probly was but i forget it sorry i have slipping mind
Oh how i wish hearthstones arena was more like premier drafting. Or cube drafting. Or anything like mtgs draft system that lets you draft a functional deck instead of going “which one of these unplayable cards from 2016 do you want?” 5-6 times each draft.
Sure you can completely bomb a draft in mtg too but if you did you probably took some risks along the way that didnt pan out (speccing on wheels or pivoting) but its probably more of your own fault then.
And at least in that game you get to keep any cards you drafted. A real reward that isn’t connected to how you performed with the deck you made. I still got memories of taking the mythic in the pack just because it was a good card to keep, not because it fit the draft.
This game really is missing so many things that make card games actually good.
Oh for sure. I do that all the time not just mythics but just pick up an uncommon or rare for collection and dump it in the sideboard. Unlike HS you can actually build your currency and your collection at the same time playing nothing but limited. Doesnt work that way in cube though. But if it did a cube draft would cost like 15000 gems or something because of how many rares are in each one.
