hi Blizzard, I see that your team is still not able to fix anything in this game, I’m not speaking at the programmatic level, that’s more or less fine. A few bugs here and there but nothing major. Balancing is what you just can’t do, since I’m unemployed I wanted to ask you if you would like to hire me. Even a monkey would be able to do a better job than yours and I happen to be much better than a monkey so I promise you that if you hire me as your boss I will fix this game up and make it as good as it was many many many years ago. I promise I’ll be the baddest boss you’ve ever had in your life and make you sweat blood until this game stops sucking. (come on don’t get angry, it’s called irony. The part where I say to hire me is ironic, unfortunately the one where I say that you are not able to balance the game is not funny at all)

They just care about money and sales, there they want people to buy packs and expansion and when there new baby was getting spanked no one would play it so they have to nerf cards to make sure it’s good so people need and want to play DK

I have to defend Team 5 here in that whoever decides hiring has tried their utmost best to allow new game developers a chance at improving Hearthstone. No such team is perfect and alas this team is simultaneously battling the ultimate greed of Activision. They’re not monkeys and they don’t deserve to lose their livelihood. This complete inconsideration for actual human beings trying their best and hoping their life gets $^&#ed up is honestly disgusting. Where is your empathy? You do know this is a game?
I am aware there are a myriad of problems here. I agree that improvements and changes are absolutely necessary to allow for a more variable meta. Folks here however need to stop with such hateful and drastic responses to a card game.
There is no reason why a major game studio should pay anyone for this. Players will play games for free, then sites like HSReplay and Vicious Syndicate will analyze the data for free. There will never be any openings for such a paid position.
There’s nothing broken with the game. Its purpose is to make money. It’s making money.
It’s sweet of you to feel for them, but anyone who has any insights to Team 5 (and I do) knows that their job isn’t that demanding, particularly given what they are paid. They should be the poster kids for: “Nice work, if you can get it.”
For what they are paid, players should get far more, in terms of balances, in terms of feedback, and in terms of plain value.
Activision may insist on profit margins and more for less, but they do not design the cards.
The State of the Game is 100% on Team 5.
I am happy to give them praise when they succeed. Therefore; I expect accountability when they do not.

Should you walk into a company and continuously mess up your job in favor for pushing your own agenda, in this case empowering the only class they play to be toxic to face and brain dead to pilot, and keep getting paid above 70% of the country for it?
Even minimum wage is too good for their clown skills.
Not only should they lose their livelihoods, they should be fired and removed from the gaming industry altogether, it’s clearly not a good fit for anyone involved with them.

But all kidding aside, do you really believe the story of profits? there are tons of cards to make tons of decks and play fun but you have to keep playing 2 minute games decided in the mulligan. guys look you can very well raise the hp to 120 and start changing this crappy meta to make the game playable. then no one will forbid blizzard from doing the usual trick of making op cards to be crafted and then nerfing them after a while. but at least let me lose while playing. I wanted to keep the conversation on the joke but then you tell me if I have no empathy. but I have the whole collection so I can say that I’m paying these people, and
since I’m paying them I’m a customer, not their friend or one who needs to empathize. I am one who pays them for a product that they continue to keep unenjoyable. If you go to a restaurant and they spit on your plate in front of you without the slightest restraint, what do you do? Do you lick it because “poor waiter, the boss stresses him”, or smashes the plate in his face? And let me be clear, I don’t want to break anything in anyone’s face, it’s just a metaphor to say that I’m a customer and if the job is done badly (very badly) I get pissed
i would balance all the cards for them for free…dont even need to hire me…they would simply need a look at the forum to see the stats and adjustment to be done after i’am done writing

Option 1(better start up base and can’t get to absurd numbers)
Battlecry: deal 10 dmg split among all enemies + Infuse 2
Option 2(more alike to the original but with stronger dmg capping)
Battlecry: deal 5 dmg split among all enemies
Infuse 1(5-15 dmg)
Infuse 2(15-25 dmg)
Infuse 3(25+ dmg)
…his Belly should be way too full of souls at 25+ XD should be hard to contain the souls in + some time to digest them
I would agree with you if the current state of the game was a fluke and Team 5 had an otherwise great track record; unfortunately, you don’t get to screw up this badly for this long and expect to stay employed, especially when you’re being paid to develop a AAA title like Hearthstone.
Blizzard hiring you would do nothing. It’s not that they don’t know how to balance the game it’s that they are not allowed to balance the game.

Actually, you might be right : even an amateur would do a better job at balancing.
Just note that despite the countless complaints afer and during expansion is ragged on this forum. I’d argue that they have had so many previous backlash. Over the years of Hearthone existence players have become so jaded (may rightfully so) have almost zero hope to stumble into a new expansion without ahead believing these expansions such because ones in the past have demonstrated this is a Team 5 following a bizarre trend expansion after expansion loved mostly are and that isn’t. Not to diminish this medical but I truly believe from past expansions (like when DH was released) and so I believe there is a little PTSD involved that has cemented into the minds of new and veteran players alike to have entirely lost hope.
Note this is not to dismiss whatsoever anyone’s hatred for this expansion nor any other past expansions. Lastly this forum is fairly inactive and most types that want to visit and maybe join. The issue with this thinking is having resulted in some really fun matches except running into excellent that are fully refined and good luck taking out these decks especially if you are trying to climb with a deck(s) you built.
