The next solo adventure should have a mission to destroy the Leviathan. No defending minions necessary, just the Leviathan. It could be like the bonus stages in Street Fighter 2. Most stages in that game involve fighting another character one on one. The bonus stages let you use your moves to break some barrels or destroy a car. I’d appreciate it if we could destroy the Leviathan from the inside out, with big explosions whenever you wreck one of the three parts involved in the Faelin Book repair puzzles.

In the Faelin story, there was no need to destroy the leviathan. After all it is just a glorified submersible. Fixing it was a good addition to the adventure, it includes the fact that you have to maintain a vessel whenever there is a battle or something.
Sure maybe the Leviathan could’ve gotten stolen by one of the other characters, but there wasn’t really a need for it. Also piloting a complicated submarine probably wouldn’t have lined up with most of the knowledge of the enemies faced.
The main arc was to reach Queen Azshara, to escape the sea once you’d discovered what occurred. The Leviathan is there only transportation source.
FYI Frankly 17 different levels was enough imo. While it wasn’t all battling minions, it was more than double the normal amount of areas to cross. Really, it just would’ve been more work than its worth.
