It’s literally 50% of my matchups now. What do you people see in this deck, it’s even more boring and straightforward than weapon rogue and doesn’t seem to be doing that well against shaman.
Play any deck with taunts or elusive/taunts or freeze. My main deck for climbing ladder to legend this season has been hunter Zerg discover, it may not have Unkilliax but I did put glacial shard, Aggramar and Alien Encounters as well as turn 3 giants option to get under them way faster.
Tbh what made me sick of this deck is people always have the best opener with piper cats and zealot, meanwhile when I was playing one it always turn 7 and still not a second groovy cat to be found or not a single Chrono boost
What’s annoying this meta, is that you may have a ton of taunts, and some decks like weapon rogue still go through.
I mean what’s the point of even having taunt at this point if it doesn’t even do its basic job.
Powercreep is real because players are lazy to learn new cards so they want them OP.
weapon rogue is easy matchup for zerg hunter, the deck that got hit the hardest against weapon rogue are probably the one that needs to setup their turns to get them out like dungar druid, tempo terran shaman actually is difficult for rogue to bypass the taunt particularly if they curve out turbulus by turn 3. my friend was actually hitting rank 13 NA after 2 hrs of grinding with weapon rogue but he mostly played against terran shaman, dungar and grunter hunter
It murders death knight, is actually favored into weapon rogue, and does well into whatever matchups weapon rogue does well into. It’s literally just “better weapon rogue”. I’m not playing it, but that’s the appeal.
There are only 5 viable classes to climb ladder with btw, and 6 total decks.
Terran Shaman - Best pick
Protoss Druid / dungar druid
Zerg DK
Location warlock
Grunter Hunter
Nothing else has a positive win rate. Not even fast priest decks, because shaman is just faster and better at holding a board. You can play other stuff, but you’re gonna get rolled by those select few decks over and over and over.
You’re taking popular decks way too seriously. There are various options if you look deeper into the stats because after 60 or 80 samples the win rates start stabilizing (and most people do the mistake to wait for thousands of samples).
e.g. in the past few hours Zarimi Priest does well and Aggro Paladin and even Elemental Mage but results fluctuate depended on day.
The game is way more dynamic than most people think. Some decks have a stable win rate but only under certain opponents.
