do i have to buy the pass to play less bots an 6k mmr?
How do you know the MMR of your opponents in BG?
There is only 37 people left who play HS?
you will see more and more bots coming into this game. i just posted about the horseman deck as well as others like infinite turn mage. these decks they allow arent fun to play against. this is why people are leaving. im a long time hs player and im almost done as well. sadly. the new “dev” crew simply doesnt test their cards or run scenerios where these cards can be exploited. it takes turds about 1-2 days to make these decks and screw the meta.
I have yet to see any indicator for my opponent’s mmr. I’ve only been as high as 7.8k in my career, but I would assume I’d see it by now. OR at least see it on streamer’s screens such as Jeef or xQn.
There aren’t bots in Battlegrounds. I mean, it’s probably not literally zero because I can imagine someone programming one for science, but there’s no commercial application so it’s going to be hyper rare.
Bots have been added to the Battlegrounds ladder. One or more bots will be added to certain games to provide newer and lower-MMR players with a smoother experience.
There are still bots in Battlegrounds.
None at 6000 rank and I still don’t know how OP thinks they know what MMR their opponents are.
So you are wrong factually but not contextually.
Deck trackers can show the mmr of the players in the lobby but only if they are over 8000.
This was added recently.
You aren’t playing against bots at 8K rating. Those are just better players than you.
Its still weird to get matched with 8k+ when you are 6k yourself. That is a huge difference,6k is zero mmr above the floor and the other is 2k mmr above the floor.
How is there not enough people between 6k and 7k to match. The lower the rating the more players right, following the bell curve. Why are 8k players needed to fill up a lobby with a 6k player?
Makes sense since those players are posted on the charts of the official HS website (8k+)
I’m thinking of pushing 8k (try at least) this weekend. I’m 200 points or so away, but I’m kinda burnt on the last year of BGs and ready/excited for the new pool.
I’m curious what the actual % of players in BGs exist between 6k+ and 8k+. Given it’s 8 players in a lobby, I’d say it can’t be unusual to face someone beyond 1k difference.
There are currently 14,799 players at or above 8000 rank.
It seems unlikely there are fewer players between 6000-8000, and even more unlikely there aren’t 8 players in that overall bracket for any given lobby.
HOWEVER -
You are matched based on your internal (hidden) MMR, NOT your current BG rank
My question about how OP knew their opponent’s MMR (not rank) was not because I doubted the matchup. Clearly his internal MMR (reflection of his overall skill) is way higher than 6000 rank or there are 8000 rank players whose internal MMR is closer to 6000. Neither seems odd.
PLEASE read this article. If this has changed at any point and someone is aware of a Blizz post to the contrary post it here. This was confirmed as recently as 2021 but I haven’t seen an official posting since.
This makes the most sense. I never knew they had two determinations for matchups. Frankly, unless you’re facing 10k+, it’s hard to tell if you’re playing skilled players or someone who got lucky tbh within the current meta.
Ya i forgot about the hidden mmr. I do asume op more or less sits at 6k,which would imply 6k internal mmr as well. Though this is an asumption and i should have asked op about this.
nothing changed same bots all day. lazy.
You are full of crap, probably a very lonely troll seeing the amounts of posts you make. There are bots, Blizzard has admitted them been in the game, theirs and from other sources. I’m pretty sure they have banned like 1 million accounts.
are you okay bud? you seem really mad.
