I'm glad they are finally moving murlocs from paladin

This is the best part of the rotation for me. Haven’t seen a murloc card yet, and it seems like they are pushing them on to warlocks which makes PERFECT sense. Murlocs are mindless weak creatures that would be easily controlled by warlocks, and warlock zoo is a beloved archetype by OG heathstone players. I am so glad.

If warlocks we’re only about controlling mindless weak creatures we would be able to mind control the opposing player.

We’re about DEMONS, not stupid little fish men. Grr

I think murlocs should be in shaman.

Meh, personally I don’t mind. Murloc is a race, and members of a race can take on many different classes, so one expansion or another they push some classes to use them. The only one that’s a little out there is paladin, but considering they let tauren be paladins and there was that storyline about how blood elves could just steal light powers and become paladins, I wouldn’t put it past Bliz to come up with a reason why murlocs can be paladins if they really had to.

Rather than less murlocs, I say bring on the murloc priests and murloc mages.

you ment to say grrgblgrbl?
now go tend to thy murlocs, Murr-lock!

I’m actually strangely bummed, because it’s an aggro archetype and I didn’t really want Paladin to be playing more midrange. But I guess it’s good to get the class its baseline midrange archetype post-rotation?

It was indeed really weird for Paladin to be the babysitter of murlocs for like 2 years or so.

I don’t like murlock playstyles as well, but murgle prime and the warlock colossal are cool cards, they only have the murloc tag for me, I would use them in any deck.

If only the rest of warlock set wasn’t about murlocs…
did they forget they introduced a fel archetype recently? I didn’t.

Warlocks already had a few murloc cards just not enough for a proper deck.
Its not new just revisiting old ground, like with frost shamans.

Warlocks based on the WoW cinematic are known for obliterating murlocs with hellfire, not controlling them. Kinda weird, but it was weird in paladin too so I guess it’s all dumb.

there´s not really any class that would overly fit with murlocs, druid/shaman basically the most as they´re closer to nature, but that´s already a stretch.

Murlocs are just meant to be a fun aggro tribe in hearthstone, don´t overthink it.

It makes the most sense in shaman, especially with the Morgl, the Oracle hero portrait.

I still want to see murlocs in mage. It could be like the ogres, except they do coin-flip battlecries instead of their attacks.

I will Warlock main if we get an undead/demon murloc deck.

paladin? the last class to get murloc support before warlock was shaman

It would be nice to have a zoo deck being competitive in the meta so new players have something early on to play. Just having face hunter felt restrictive to new players. Having both would be a welcome change to the overall game.

murloc paladin was the last viable murloc deck i think, shaman in the end did not receive enough support.

Prismatic Lens is a hell of an card!

I’m actually running a Murloc Paladin build in Standard. Dun Baldar Bridge is stupid good with it. You have your cheap buffs as well + Cariel.
