If you have lethal on the board

End the game. Stop playing cards. Just end the game. You’re either bad at math, not paying attention, or you’re being a jerk and trying to rub it in

I’m not going to let you waste my time so I’m just going to concede or close the app entirely and then you can sit there for another minute and a half playing every card in your hand all you want

And what bugs me the most is that this happens all of the time in this community

This is what you should do and it’s why the concede button exists.

You realize that many people complete quests and achievements? That if I have to spend hundreds of mana and you’re just going to sit there an let me do it, that’s totally fine with me?

There are lots of reasons to not kill someone despite lethal on the board.

Why not just concede? Why get frustrated about it?

I don’t know in what ranks you’re playing, but in ranks I play, noone misses lethal on board, especially since you literally have a tracker counting the dmg for you. So hoping they’ll miss lethal on board is pointless.

Now, when they BM with lethal from hand, that’s another thing. That’s BM-ing and it should get remembered and punished next rematch.

Sometimes people may just be playing cards to complete quests. Other times…yeah, they’re just rubbing salt in the wounds. Not a reason to get upset anyways.

Yeah just concede if you tryna save some time, don’t let it get to you it’s just a vidja game.

Wait a minute the trackers tell you if you have lethal now? Man i need to get me a labtop.

Firestone shows your and your enemy’s dmg on board, yea lol

I personally prefer to make my opponent concede than kill him…
for this i give them time to think about it, aiming at them with the minion i have lethal with,
the majority concedes on the spot but some wait for the whole rope to burn…

You dont need add-on for that. You can count, right?

Sure, and I have to, cuz I play complicated decks which can do a lot of dmg from hand

But, anything I don’t have to count, I won’t count. It’s just smarter

Imagine, your opponent uses it, and you don’t, so you have to waste more resources for something your opponent just knows at every point

If I have lethal on the board and it’s my turn and you don’t concede, aren’t YOU the one wasting MY time?

So you’re the one at fault first.

In order, the fastest way to end the game when your opponent has lethal and it’s their turn:

  1. You click concede
  2. Opponent plays the fastest way possible to kill you
  3. Opponent plays their cards and draws out the game then kills you

You’re complaining about #2 but by not clicking concede, you’ve become the very thing you’re complaining about - wasting someone’s time.

Now, let’s add on to that.

If your response is “I don’t click concede because the opponent might be bad at math and miss lethal” then you’re already insulting your opponent. In that case, your opponent can play out their entire turn in response to you thinking they are dumb.

So no matter which way you slice it, by not clicking concede yourself, you’ve given your opponent 100% reason to do whatever they wish to do on their turn. You either wasted their time or you want to see if they are dumb.

100% this.

I did a lot of tournament Magic the Gathering before Hearthstone came out. Pro Tour qualifiers, Grand Prixs, etc. Scooping in a timely manner was socially enforced etiquette among the tournament regulars. We don’t need to be stuck at this table a second longer than we have to, we can be outside having a cigarette or trying to grab some grub or whatever. If you wouldn’t concede when you’d clearly lost, you couldn’t sit with the cool kids. We’d look at failure to scoop as a kind of intellectual disability.

Yet another reason to despise quests and call for their complete removal

Just surrender… what is wrong with you???

they show you damage that is possible to calculate - on board, plus weapon and hero power.
it does not show you lethal, if you have it in hand for whatever of hundreds of reasons you can have it in hand.

People miss lethals all the time. why concede?

I already covered this response before you decided to post it:

Just concede. You cant force behavior. All you can do is ignore it.
