If you could change one thing in each of the following categories, what would it be, and why?
- Feature. What would you add to the game? Extra deck slots, players stats, etc…
- Bug fix. Something CLEARLY not intended to work the way it does, either entirely or in degree. e.g., bandwidth hogging, the way cards in your collection reset to “not viewed”
- Card mechanics. Putting this directly after bugs because I feel like they tend to get mixed up. Is there a card/mechanic that you think should function differently than it does? e.g., deathrattle triggers, buffs working on copies.
- Game balance. Nerfs, new cards, HoF.
- Cost. e.g., Paywall for standard/wild, solo adventure, Arena cost/reward.
- Kripp

I would change ladder to be similar to the format of past tournaments. The current ladder relies on your “ability” to randomly queue into opportune match-ups for your selected deck, and this contributes to an overall lack of personal agency in a lot of games.
My dream ladder would see each player queue with three different decks for three different heroes. The coin gets flipped. Whoever goes second, gets to veto one of their opponent’s decks first. Then the opponent vetoes one of theirs. Repeat until each player has one deck/hero left, and the game continues as normal.
This would also resolve some issues / complaints about class polarization. If you veto Rogue because it is statistically played as an Aggro deck, or Warrior because it is statistically Control, it would encourage players to make decks that shift away from the established meta, in an effort to throw off their opponents.

If they ever make a veto system, I think this would be a good way to do it.
Bo3 is ideal but it takes too much time, your way of doing it seems pretty good.

Thought about mine for a bit:
- More game modes. Like, several. I’d like something like Tavern Brawl to be what it originally was: crazy random games without these “Standard but” brawls, and also a mode with those brawls, and a co-op, and a free Arena without prizes…there is just so much fertile ground here that would cost Blizzard little and could provide so much joy to players, so I’m going with this.
- I gotta go with bandwidth hogging. But that’s because I’m a programmer who frequently works from home or a private office, so having a HS game running, streaming video or music, having multiple StakcOverflow tabs open, etc…, is basically my life.
- Make Hero cards interruptible. Or allow us to interact with them in literally any impactful way.
- Bring discard back. It doesn’t have to be good, just good enough for Tech.
- Get rid of packs. Let us buy the cards we want for some combination of gold/dust. And if the end result is something where those cards are onerous to buy, well, then that exposes the core problem with this economy.
- Facial hair.

Great suggestions. Perhaps in collection, we can have custom categories of decks as the container: aggro, mid range, control, OTK and have decks nested there. But class grouping sounds better.

I like that idea, particularly if you combine it with Wardrum’s idea. Click on a Hero, get a dropdown list of decks. I don’t think they have to be limited to categories, but let’s face it: for most of us, they usually would be: Aggro, Tempo, Control, Meme.
Wardrum, you are absolutely not allowed to call for a nerf to Pocket Galaxy. I’m the hero in this story. You’re the villain. I’m sorry. That’s just the way it is.

…said every villain ever.
…hang on, everybody, X just gave it to Kripp
(edit: does that reference make me old?)

Secret execution order is definitely weird
Ooo, I forgot about Dane. Dane’s great.

I like that idea about another Tinkmaster type card. Guessing they’ll never do it, but they could revert Tinkmaster back to its Beta form of being able to choose the target and HOF it.
On a separate note…also forgot 7. Stop queuing into Control Warriors.
Totally. He’s a good early example of over-nerfing. Maybe “Change target minion into a random one with the same cost”? Wouldn’t be hard to set an appropriate body for that.
