If you are in danger of not completing the Event

… make sure you clear out the remaining weeklies quests ASAP - today if possible. You can finish some of them in Play a Friend mode. Unfortunately the last one is “12 coins in ranked” but you should be able to grind it out in a couple games if you build a rogue coin deck if that is not something you are used to playing.

Once you’ve cleared the three weeklies, then the rest of this week you will get TWO dailies at presumably 75 points each day. So if you aren’t too far behind, you can still finish this event.

I had a few hours to play on Saturday, but they thought it would be better to not let me progress anything but a single daily on that day.

Thanks so much Blizzard, for making a chore of an un-fun event for the most casual players, just to get a couple new cards.

I’ve got a better idea: never read any of the quests you’re given or care about their rewards ever again.

Boom! One easy step to not being a slave to a to-do list sent to you by a corporation.

Right. So the title should really have been “if you care about a couple of new cards and are in danger of not completing the event.” This was directed at completely casual and non-PTW players who don’t respond to 12k+ posts on this forum. But thanks for the input.

you could just play a few games of wishing well rogue and get most of the quests done within a day or two. /shrug

An easier sell when it’s cosmetics like most of the events have been. But I don’t begrudge people for this narrow-margin, highly annoying event that rewards a whole bunch of packs.

Yeah, this event is rewarding a boatload of packs for completing it. It’s actually worth trying to complete it if you are a FTP or close to it player. I hope they do more events like this in the future. It’s a bit harder but the reward is well worth it.

You can tell from miles Scr0tieMcB isn’t an F2P optimizer.

There’s literally no such thing as a F2P optimizer. Spending time doing things you wouldn’t normally do is work, and it’s a sick joke to call working for a small amount of Blizzard store credit “optimization.”

Whatever DoorDashing for money is, “F2P optimization” is below that. I’m literally saying that using a gig app to make minimum wage and then buying packs for real money is more optimized than being F2P.

I guess maybe if you don’t own a car. Out there riding the bus or something.

It’s like a game. Solve the puzzle of making the most out of F2P.

By your logic playing a video game is terrible too.

The coin quest is acting up for me, not even logging out n in gives me credit for all the coins i played (of course playing on ranked like it says).

Fortunately it’s just a vidja game so i ain’t too broken up about it
