Im bored of this match of Cenarius with all of his healing vs the new DH with his trash deck. The deck is terrible which makes me wonder why i am even bothering to get the new DH? I didnt choose these cards, and when i almost get him, Cenarius heals to full health. yawn.
if I just skip this match up… will i eventually get DH?
i dont care about the new DH… im burnt from trying to get him.
**EDIT not looking for tips to beat Cenarius, just looking to see if enough players boycott this solo adventure to unlock DH, will Blizzard eventually just give us the DH without having to do these terrible solo adventures?

I have noticed that one mistake leads to a huge tempo loss.
You can actually burn him down fast with the right hand. I noticed if he starts dropping healing and/or big minions on the board that you health once and he put down an impossible to remove taunt and healed himself back up. Just concede when he does this.
I also did a lot of face damage to myself trying to get control of the board. Got to about 18 health just dealing damage to myself from board removal. This was the match that I actually killed him.
The match has actually been rigged a bit to create some consistency. If you notice, he will almost always cast Living roots, then you will get Umberwing on your turn two draw. Cast that, remove one of the roots. Satyr should be in your hand, so you can attack the taunt minion he just put down with the remaining minion you have, plus another face attack, putting another 2/2 minion on the board.
It’s not until about turn 5 that the match gets some randomness, but blizzard basically handed us the first part of the match. I have always complained that there was little skill to the matches. The enemy always has better cards, better draw, and it’s all luck. This pulls luck out of the game and lets you actually get a good start if you play right and learn that first few turns.
I really can’t complain about this one at all…
I am playing a match now…turn 5, eye beam in to 2/4, remaining 1 mana for weapon to remove…

So this time I deliberately left an enemy minion up, a 2/2. next round he turned it in to a 9/8 or something. Yeah, so definitely REMOVE EVERYTHING. That was the mistake I made the first match I lost to him.

I dont like solo adventures enough to care if I even get the DH.
I dont really need the DH, just wondering what blizz will do, when I do not unlock their new crap.

To remove the big taunt you are supposed to use Inner Demon with a weapon equipped.
They are trying to teach you how to use all of the cards.
You should be able to run Cenarius out of cards and into top deck mode if you play efficiently.
If you try to play as a Face Hunter rather than a Demon Hunter it just doesn’t work.

I won the final battle and unlocked the ‘Demon Hunter’.
But I won’t be using him much, because he is just another shirtless man and that makes me sick.

Well… nothing… I mean, if it’s clear you don’t know how to play DH, why would they give it to you?

Yeah, if you can’t beat Cenarius you don’t get him, sucks I know.

After a few hours I lucked into a combo with empowered heavy hits to face and keeping Cenarius’s side cleared or down to lower power units.
Still, the vexation lingers and I question why the sadism of this match relying heavily on RNG rather than comparable decks.
Why any devs or approving people imagined the majority of people prefer casual sadism from what should be a fun experience, is beyond me, or perhaps I am too far removed from that persuasion to see a reasoned argument in good faith.
Cheers to anyone who happened to enjoy the it, though I did so the narration as usual with these solo adventures.
Just make sure you use the weapon that gives you life steal, with the spell that adds 8 damage to your attack together. If you save those cards until the end of the match you can restore like, what, 20 health or something? That’s what I did
