I was just in a Wild match playing Imbue Mage against a Paladin using the Ceaseless Expanse+Holy Wrath combo deck. Ice Block was on the field and my hero’s health was above 20, but despite that Holy Wrath killed me and the secret did not activate despite it being fatal damage. I don’t think the secret was designed to handle that amount of damage at once.
Could your opponent have had this minion in play ?
