this game is fun right now the mini set was released not long ago and ithnk its thx to that i was able to get to diamond 5 playing HL priest and sometimes paladin with excavate
as HL priest i get to use warrior and druid HL cards copyign their reno with everlasting tram heist and playing it in response tot heirs is fun because they know i still have my own reno 
started to play excavate paladin right now and found warriors and druid are probably the only ones letting me do as i please for the first few turns i noticed one of them saved his taunt instead of playing on curve becase he wanted to play brann first …he took like 10 hp damage because of this !

My pain is after that. D5 is practically inevitable for my skill level; D10 has a win streak bonus; that means you can lose > 50% of the time and still progress (!).
Anecdotally: D5 to D4 is relatively doable if you are careful but around D3 it starts becoming massively try-hard mode by all in there.

Still for me in the 2 hours I was only able to play 3 games 2 druid and 1 highlander warrior. The games last close to 40 minutes or more and what is going on in the games are a random crap back and forth, back and forth, 30 minutes later I am exhausted to continue playing.
Yes, I don’t have to play druid or warrior just wanted to try it and to me playing druid or warrior - it feels like exhausting diarrhea poop show right now.

It says if you deck win rate is 55% article say 116 games. Lets say and this is very rough estimate, you only need to play 100 games you are that good!
Lets say you play Warrior or Druid decks games run close to 40 or more minutes and if you try to think every turn close to a rope it could even be longer games. I take 40 minutes on average.
You would need 40 minutes each game and you need to do 100 games about 4000 minutes or about 66 hours. Lets say you play 8 hours a day, 100 focus on the game. You would need 8 days with 8 hours of game play with Druid or Warrior decks. Good luck with this mini set.

In Wild there are around 4700 playable cards, in standard around 1200… but the moaning of certain people is endless

Holy sh**. I suspected it’s so try-hard to do Legend but not THAT try hard.
I suspect the true secret is to make an original deck nobody else has.
His 40 minute average game spiel is so far off reality. You can have 40 minute games, sure. But average is more like 10-15 minutes.
That’s not to take away how many games you need to hit legend without bonus stars. You really do need to play about 115-200 games to go from d5 to legend. You can get lucky and do it in much less, but that’s not the norm.
I don’t think that’s the true …truth of this situation. That is the truth of the average stats the popular sites collect or some “theorycrafters” project after they do some napkin calculations based on “the average player in the game”.
In reality this game can probably produce extremely higher win rates if you are smart enough to create a new deck nobody expects; good news is that is more exciting too because it’s how the game is meant to be played; bad news is some players can’t think and have the delusion “only copy-pasting works because legend people are infallible”(most of them just copy other legend people lol…).

next expansion we will have a two mana card that reads “opponent discards deck and you win the game” this way we can have faster easy wins for mobile players who need a quick game while they eat lunch.
