and almost all the pack deals.
Until I realized I was just blindly supporting Blizzard.
And I’m happy to do that for most of their games (except HotS).
After all, I’ve spend thousands on WoW, HS, Diablo, SC, OW, etc. for the last 15 years.
I’ll be glad to again, for HS, if they ever stop netdecking.
It’ll never happen though.
So I’m fine with Battlegrounds
Why spend on WoW or Diablo when there are also dedicated sites to min/maxing your builds for every class on those games as well? That’s all netdecking is.
I’m not buying gear from those games.
Obviously I’m talking about the sub cost and the price of the xpacs.
Regardless of what you’re purchasing specifically, you’re still rewarding them and the systems they support with your cash, no?
Neither of those has netdecking.
Ignoring you now that you’re trying to steer my topic off the main topic of NETDECKING
And you obviously haven’t played WoW the past xpac. Look at the top 100 builds for each class on Mythic N’Zoth. There’s 2-3 builds per class.
Which is totally different from Arena. Which is totally different from M+
How is looking up talent builds/rotations for WoW any different from netdecking?
And how, exactly, do you stop netdecking?
Look at my last comment
Tell me how 6-8 builds per class w/ corruption is the same as 1-2 builds in HS
And in HS
Only 3-4 builds are playable per patch
So you’re not complaining about netdecking, you’re complaining about a lack of variety.
Which rises from netdecking
I can’t play willy nilly decks and compete vs netdecks
While in WoW, players can wear gear from the last raid and still kill the next raid’s final boss
Not really? We’ve already established you’re OK with netdecking equivalents in WoW (copying builds/rotations from successful guilds), so clearly that isn’t the issue. The issue is that you want more variety.
And you can “compete” in Casual mode using off-meta decks. You won’t win every time, but you can still win games. I play Quest Hunter and Tekahn Warlock in casual, and those decks aren’t great but can still squeak games here and there.
Did you not read 2 of my previous comments about ‘netdecking in WoW’?
Because even Method, IcyVeins, etc. says no one build works for everyone
Because unlike HS. WoW actually lets you be competitive with multiple builds, per class, in a variety of environments
And if you don’t believe me. You can look up various classes in the different fields. There’s variety even amongst the top 100 per field.
I’m not talking about competing in casual mode. Mythic N’Zoth isn’t “casual mode.” I’ve even seen fresh alts get to Gladiator rating in PVP
You understand that this is all irrelevant, right? Whether there’s one viable build or a hundred, people who copy this build are doing the WoW equivalent of netdecking. Which you are totally fine with.
From your comments, it’s obvious you wouldn’t mind netdecking if each class in Hearthstone had enough archetypes to make it diverse (however you define “diverse”). But the degree of diversity you’re demanding seems unlikely to be feasible, netdecking or not.
You also haven’t explained exactly how netdecking can be magically stopped, which is the one thing everyone gets stumped on.
HS has basically has every WoW class yet 1/100th the amount of build variety.
And Idk how to stop it. I just stated they won’t be getting the usual $80/xpac they’ve gotten from me since Beta until they fix it. Battlegrounds ftw.
They could ban a deck from play if too many similar decks are in play.
They could ban the most popular deck and players will swamp to the next OP deck. It will be a never ending cycle.
people literally kick you out raids for not playing a very specific way. I have no clue defuq you are even saying.
Not if their automated system just keeps limiting similar decks.
100 of type A
100 of type B
100 of type C
First come first serve. The smartest deck creators will have A and the copycats will have B/C+
You assume that can work out properly and also possibly getting a backlash from the players for implementing that system you suggesting.
Lmao. Right, lemme see your WoW armory? Doubt you have ever experienced that outside of PUGs
You assume that can work out properly and also possibly getting a backlash from the players for implementing that system you suggesting.
Up to Blizzard. Rather have $80 from players like me who wanna play creative decks competitively
Vs.
Whatever small population they have left
*sigh,
This is a card game,
Wow is an MMORPG
Diablo is an Arpg
SC2 is a real time strategy game.
Overwatch is a first person team shooter.
Why again, are you comparing very different games? Play what suits you, do not compare them. There is no point other than trolling and attention seeking. Different types of people like different types of games.
Right. Because if I don’t share your view. It’s trolling
Have fun w/ your 3 deck meta.
