hi , i try to play control shaman but all versions i made are impossible to win with , the meta is so fast that we can’t even play a control deck other than priest and blood dk (at least control paladin but not interesting enough doing equality consecration) , i just want to win with my mind , not braindead overcheated combos wombos , shaman have cards made for control and they are not usable , so why are they made for ? maybe just to look at them and say "unuseable ".
so what to do ? i don’t have much cards i just don’t want to play mage big spell we get during one year and this makes me bored , then no way i play paladin i have played it for so long time that i don’t want it anymore to play .
Standard or Wild? I have a Wild Shaman deck which is doing reasonably well. It’s a home brew Shudderwock deck. I consider it Control more than Combo because Shudderwock is there as one option, but I rarely go into infinite Shudderwocks. Sometimes I win (or lose) before I get to him. Sometimes I play him early to take control of the board back and then win with Astalor Firebringer. It varies.
If you’re playing standard, Shaman doesn’t really have good control tools at the moment so it isn’t going to work. I don’t know **** about wild but Shaman had some good control cards in the past so maybe it’s a thing.

The control cards we shamans have are so old they cannot be played anymore.
The overload is so punishing today vs all speedy decks.
And I sadly think it will be a worse expansion for us, since they thought evolve would survive the nerf.
Also tried running finley Hp swap cuz our hero power does almost nothing.

In the old model of “control” there was board clears and greedy minions. Blizzard splits those now, and shaman only has highroll for supporting big minions. If you want removal go play blood or priest.
