More specifically, because of the wild format.
It should reduce your third spell once a turn, not repeatable multiple times.
This is especially broken for the wild format (that comes from someone who plays him)
Why ? Because that allows you to cast Ultimate Infestation twice in a turn or combined with Overflow. This shouldn’t be possible, the third spell free once a turn is good enough, no need to make it stupidly overpowered if you get lucky.
Allowing multiple free 10 cost spells in a single turn is bad game design.

I was hoping for Aviana to be one of the unnerfed wild cards. After seein what Kael is capable of in Druid, dumpster tier class in wild at the time, I am glad they didnt!
Was Aviana better than Kael though ? With Kael you can double UI on turn 4.
I’m pretty sure that’s the most broken combo to ever exist.

Thats what I’m getting at. I wanted Aviana unnerfed, with Hourlock boards on T5/6 and Quest Mage comboing out at a similar time to Deathstar Druid…
I’d honestly prefer Avianna being unnerfed (or would have before seeing the new (old) ramp cards being re-formatted).
So, yeah, I am glad that the card I wanted unnerfed wasnt - due to Kael and a better nourish for such a deck.

and don’t forget the new spell aviana that can be easily slotted in the deck too
why would you play that card if you can have much better for 6 mana ?
Raza unnerfed. Maybe aviana could too?
Well, does razakus comparable with stardruid? In a secret mage and vargoth mage meta?
We wont know it until aviana getting unnerf too.
Stuff that vulnerable to fast decks too maybe.
…such as unnerf quest rogue. (Gasp)
because kael’thas can get removed and using a second card for consistency works?
I agree. It’s just silly the way it is and as someone else pointed out, even the text suggests it should work once per turn

If the reduced 3rd spell was (1) mana instead, kael would be great (and far less exploitable).
They aren’t nerfing anything wild. Its the dumpster format where they pile up all the mistakes and light a bonfire that burns all playability of the format. They stop caring about anything that isn’t Standard of BGs and if BGs turn out to not make money they will stop caring about that too. The only way to change their minds is hit them in the wallet because that’s the only thing that matters.

You need to understand you’re not going to let Kael’thas die, you will play him the turn you can complete your combo or when you are certain your opponent won’t be able to deal with him.
Your card doesn’t do anything it’s just a1 mana 5/5 on turn 10 that’s irrelevant, at this point Kun is better.

Wow, reading this post is illuminating.
How many times have I seen some of the very players here asking for balance nerfs criticizing other players for calling for revisions no sooner than a card is released? Revealing peek into the psyche of some of the hardcore posters on here…

So.

Were you not here when Sn1p was nerfed, or?..

yeah. kael druid is broken… once a turn is what I thought it was at first, repeatable is too much.
I am not sure what you mean exactly.
Are you implying that I’m wrong about my assessment of the card ?
I am not implying anything. Players have guilty consciences that is on them.
Aviana should never be unnerfed. There are too many busted combos that can go right along Aviana for it to not be excused in Wild.
Kaltheas is bad design, and seeing Jade Druids draw and play 15 cards and doing 10 damage to face with double UI was a glaring hole in design. I already knew this card was a bad idea from the get go. In literally day one of release, people found a way to make some convoluted Miracle Jade work in Ladder.
Give it 6 months to a year and you will see Mages abusing this too. This card needs to go.
If that was directed at me, that shows your ignorance of the game.
I made a thoughtful post that explains exactly why Kael has an horrible design and should be changed for something more reasonable.
If you don’t believe me it’s either because you
A: Don’t play the game
B: Play at rank 20
C: Are just a bad player

Wow asking for a nerf to a card in standard because its op in wild. The logic here is astounding.
