I still think Rag OTK shaman is kind of trash. It comes online way too slowly and has a hard time actually closing games when your opponent has a full board. You might clear their board but then they play Yogg and clear yours and that deck has no way to come back after their combo. I’d rather play nature OTK than Rag OTK
The treant druid win was definitely rng. If he hadn’t happened to discover a taunt, the bloodlust would have finished him.
There’s definitely a big margin for decision making too. Do I need to drop an elemental this turn to keep skarrs counter going, can I afford to overload, etc.
Yeah, I was hoping to cue into either a mech or excavate rogue. It seems like the deck could fare well there (especially with primal wave teched in).
I might keep fiddling with it. It’s the kind of deck I like, but I still think they split the elemental pool too thin between mage and elemental.
Just to update – I removed Murmy and Amalgam for 2 copies of Shale Spider. Murmy is almost certainly correct even though this makes the paladin and hunter matchups worse.
So far Shale Spider seems pretty good.
I was wondering what the purpose of the murmy was. It didn’t seem to help me out much.
Literally just a turn 1 card to help against stuff like paladin and Costumed Singer and was a Trusty Companion target.
