I might just concede each time I vs a mage

They are just too cancer to play against, in both, standard and wild.

At least with the rewards track I still get something when I lose

Well, not really if you spend zero time in the match prior to conceding.

True, but if I play and lose then at least I still get stuff that gets me exp for the track

That much is definitely true.

The problem with HS is that theres little counter play so stupid stuff in the game has little counter moves to it so classes like Mage can get away with doing so much

If you want to consistently beat Mage, just play Bomb Warrior, Soul DH or an aggro deck. The recent nerfs dropped Mage from Tier 2 all the way to a Tier 4 deck. It’s not doing very well these days.

I wish we had more control when its not our turn.

I wonder. What if, we can add a third copy of a minion but keep spells and secrets to two per copy? Would the game be better, the same or worse?

Given the power of some minions, I doubt it would be an improvement.

If you’re interested in causing effects on your opponets turn, Hunter and Mage both seem to be shaping up for a Secret decks in the coming expansion and likely in the year moving forward. Not as direct as MtG (I believe this is intentional) but quite disruptive and forces you opponent to think things through before trying to make their play.

the only problem is its tied to two classes only.

Maybe if you can only get 1 copy of a secret and not two then it would be better.

I might just concede out of this game entirely. Lust for more $$$ gonna be the downfall of these lazy, greedy sh1tbags

You prefer playing vs soul dh, a deck that does what every other class does, at the same time and better? Or pure paladin, a mindless snoozefest of a turd that does nothing but play the same boring crap over and over on the same curve?

Quick quiz who here has played vs a pure pala that didnt have first day of school in their opening hand? No one? OK then.

Blizz took the most diverse meta in years and diluted it down to these two beginner decks, why? if you’re normally sitting at a 30% win rate each month, spend your $$ to craft either deck and enjoy legend.

The game is in such a bad spot that galagrond rogue is now back in the meta.

I played earlier vs a shaman who played removal cards for 18 turns and nothing else, ‘control shaman’ they say, ‘troglodyte shaman’ to me. You have to be amongst the lowest IQ people on earth to enjoy doing that.

Thank god the expansion is next week because if I had to play this meta any longer I would uninstall and request my account be deleted.

That’s some harsh language, who’s literally dying playing against Mage?

You might want to adjust your plays If you’re losing against Mage that much. What do you imagine you are doing wrong?

The problem will then be different class match ups, ie, very few mages.

I see. That level of rigging does a great job of explaining why no one ever actually climbs the ladder or reaches legend.

Definitely :+1:

What deck are you playing?

As others have mentioned - I think all standard mage archetypes struggles against aggressive playstyle (doesnt need to be just face hunter but also DH or bomb warrior or pretty much every deck that can go fast and hard.

Slower the deck, the more time for mage to spin the wheel and go for value to crush you in the late game.

Against fast and agressive decks the mage is forced to make suboptimal plays just to ease the pressure.

Sarcasm aside I have very different class match ups if I switch decks.

You are probably legendary in both formats I guess. Mage is strong? Really? Because we got so good cards in the last 3 expansions for Wild and Standard right …nice joke

I am on a 27 concede in a row just because i queue into a mage every game to finish quest…ill update you how long do i go until i encounter something else other than mage

This is a lie and impossible, 27 games in a row against any class…
You re not even trying.
