I don’t understand why Priests or how Priests in Hearthstone have gotten so far away from what makes them desirable as a World of Warcraft character. Priests have so much utility and spells to choose from in Wow but Hearthstone it’s opposite. Why don’t we have all of our spells to choose from? Where are the Mind Spikes, Devouring Plagues and Mind Blasts? Where’s the prayers and shadow words?
…and where is our buffs and utility? We have no ability to buff our chars or our boards. At least give us Fort, shield, Mass Dispel, Serenity - where are all of the priest abilities and spells? Make it resemble actual Priests!
The whole class needs to be reworked!
Never once in wow have I ever summoned and resummoned mechs and dragons, let alone anything! Priest is a caster class. Give me some really cool spells.
You have a point but only in terms of Lore. This game is extremely focused on one thing compared to wow; it’s about a few cards making a few decks; it’s not massively enriched by bosses producing new synergies with the old spells (PvP is massively less popular than PvE in WoW for a reason).
To put it in simple words: it’s just BORING to go for dozens of expansions with the same basic Lore spells; they just try to create new synergies and new decks (maybe WoW would be less BORING in PvP if it wasn’t always the same game from 2014 almost).
The basic and classic sets got removed from standard and switched for core because the OG cards were massively outdated in terms of powerlevel
In 2017 it was already a meme how some classes were still using basic cards in meta decks because they were the only few to have viable ones
As for the personal attack, it says more about you than it does me. Perhaps answer a with a little more that adds to the conversation and less that detract.
I was here. My response is that just as the classes in WoW have evolved (based on the previous patch) so should Hearthstone, so yes, I agree with you, however, each class has a foundation of base spells and talents. For example Mage has been able to freeze since day 1, only the name of the spell has changed. Same with frost bolt and fireball.
The Death knight has 3 specs to choose from. I just think it would be neat if all of the classes could choose from 3 specs and be limited to those specific cards. My reasoning is that class balance is a constant battle. Perhaps if the classes weren’t mix and match and had a permanent set of base spells based off of their true class/spec/talent choices, it might be more fun.
