Quickly climb to diamond with a very high winrate (~80%), and now I literally just can’t win a game anymore. It seems like every game my opponent is just drawing perfectly, has perfect answers, curve, etc.
In the last 2 days I’m 5-21. How is that even possible? I play control, I don’t draw any removal and die by turn 5. I play aggro, I only play against control decks that have the perfect hand. I know it’s random but Jesus Christ the game just feels unplayable.

Congratulations on getting to Diamond with an 80% win rate. I think that is quite good.
I don’t think you’re alone in feeling the way that you do, as this forum sees commentary such as yours quite frequently.
If you can reply with what deck you are playing, what decks you are going up against, some of the regular constructed players on this forum should be able to help guide you in the direction you seek. Good luck on ladder!
If you ran out of stars the people at that rank are probably just better than you and you will have an easier time later in the month after they have progressed higher.

Unfortunately that’s not really a fair assumption to make when the majority of game decisions are influenced by rng.
I would consider myself to be significantly more skilled than the average player but there’s nothing I can do when 50% of my deck is between 1-3 cost but I don’t get to play cards until turn 6-7 because of awful luck, just as an example of what I’m talking about.
In 5 out of my last 10 games my opponent top decked Reno on turn 8 while in a losing position. Just a better player, I suppose.
And you lost? Because I do not find Reno all that threatening unless someone misplayed most of their hand into Reno.
I do this every month, & then I start playing stronger opponents; sometimes I make it to Legend, but I usually don’t.
Forget the paranoia: You are NOT being “targeted”.

I think it isn’t a fair assumption to come to these forums and think you’re going to find an echo chamber for your conspiracy theories.
Look…
You probably need someone to watch you playing.
I not saying that you’re lying or anything but in many times we get too focused on drawing something that we don’t do everything we can with what we have in the hand during the momment.
Get someone to play a game or two with you or just take a few days out usually help with it.
It’s visible that you’re tilted and when we reach that point everything feel worse than it really is.
That or you had a really bad RNG many times in a row with is also an incredible tilting experience.
So you should calm down first before even dare to discuss anything undependant on being correct or wrong.

Perhaps matchmaking didn’t move you up quickly enough at first. If you had an 80% win rate and now have a 20% win rate, you’re finally back to the target 50% win rate that matchmaking would typically try to get you to, assuming you also had around 25 matches for the climb. Keep in mind that it’s constantly adjusting your matchmaking rating, so hopefully it’ll get to an equilibrium soon, but it often takes a little longer at the start of the expansion or month with everyone jumping back in to play.
