I said this in another thread, but they’ll 100% release evoker class first just to let down all the monk stans.

It’s a bit of both. If the minions were better, it wouldn’t hurt as bad that they don’t really do anything until you’ve played 3-4 of them. That’s kind of an issue in all the imbue classes.

The minions are just not good enough for effects that kind of do nothing until turn 6 or 7 even if you are getting them on curve.

Then once you get there, most imbues themselves aren’t great.

Sure, the 2 mana 3/1 could be a 1 mana 2/1 with lifesteal like he mentions, but it’s not going to help Priest at all with Imbue. You can’t (or shouldn’t) be trying to hero power on 2 (something Zeddy mentions you could do with a 1 mana imbue minion which just shows he has no clue).

He makes a good point about the 4 mana imbue priest minion. It’s bad and the neutral is better. They compete for the 4 mana slot. But again, doesn’t really matter. The issue with Priest is not getting your imbue faster. Even ZachO says you don’t want to imbue with Priest past 4-6. It’s sort of useless to do so and takes up too many deck slots.

So getting there isn’t the issue. It’s the actual Imbue itself. I’d argue that you could start the game with 4 mana imbue discount at the beginning of the game and it wouldn’t help priest at all right now. All you would be getting is a 2 mana discount total on a random card you may or may not(the may not is higher) be able to play that turn.

You wouldn’t be able to consistently successfully hero power on 2 with a 4 mana discount anyways.

It’s a very late game mechanic that’s very mediocre. Remove the temporary tag and it instantly becomes 5x better. Imbue Priest might actually have a shot at being a Tier 3 deck with temporary removed.

Its like the decks are fun to play, but none of the current meta decks are actually fun to play against, that is the biggest issue.
Dragon Warrior - Just turtles up for 10+ minutes as it buffs up dragons and hopes to not roll 10 medivacs
Leech DK - Health steal + board clear, was so much fun in Excavate Lock
Armor DH - Armor ontop of more armor ontop of taunts
Location Lock - Giant mage with locations
Egg Hunter - RC Rampage is back…again…for some reason…

It’s a lack of good tech cards, only 1 of the imbue effects actually being good, and control cards being far too oppressive.

The priest imbue Discover is bad because it gives you one definitive choice in minion and one in spell. It’s not really a choice because you are looking to high roll a spell. If the imbue was just minions or just spells and gave you a choice of 3 in those categories it would be so much better.

The raza change makes NO sense at all. The HP is already balanced because the cards are temporary.

They need to nerf King plush to the ground. Just change him from charge to rush.

While I hate the mirror it’s a sad state of affairs when the funnest match up for me to play as location warlock is the mirror, everything else is scam.

Location warlock is the only “fair” deck that doesn’t try to scam it’s opponents, it’s just incredibly tempo heavy.

So now Warlock is playing the exact game as DH is playing except better because they can play Kil’jaeden AND Wheel.

This card is the best argument now to make the effect a BC or just make it do something else. Changing it to 5 just makes the warlock deck the best armor deck if they only do a cost nerf. UGH.

Well, all the begging for a deathrattle return hit back like a boomerang.

This isn’t even the best part of it with Warlock.

It’s this baby:
Epic · Minion · Into the Emerald Dream · Battlecry: Gain the Deathrattles of your minions that died this turn.

You can go infinite Starship armor with him. He can copy Amalgam and then copy every single mega starship and then copy all other of himself to exponentially increase the number of deathrattles he has.

But, I’ve tried it. It’s not as good as demon hunter because the cursed campaign card is much slower. Still, funny when you do it.

I faced a deck playing that but i beat them because it took too long to setup and i just won the game. The straight control version is better IMO and looks all around better off. When they have it setup they just launch the ship. Playing the DR card then sac it for 3 card draw.

I wasn’t impressed with the list I got from reddit. I still need to adjust it more to be more control.
