I disagree with J Alexander about wicked stab

In his stream yesterday he said wicked stab was bad in quest rogue i cannot disaggree more this card has won me many games.

What does he recommend instead? “Won me many games” can be misleading. Sometimes card loses more games than it wins because you could have played something more appropriate to the situation.

I dont have his list he also does not run scabs which i cut then put back in i dont run edwin or smite idk if he runs them
He also runs the 1 cost weapon i dont like it tbh.
i have two wand thiefs its gives me the x factor in rogue games and no one sees them coming XD.

Both he and ZachO recommended on discord to drop Stabs.

ZachO swears by Tenwu/Vanessa, J_Alex I think was using Tenwu/Smite, though I believe Smite was sometimes flexed out for other stuff.

Outside of that, they were using the VS list which contains Stabs due to theur popularity, but recommends Tenwu/Vanessa in their place.

EDIT - Tenwu is great he is the only card id maybe swap but idk wardrum my list is working D.
Smite is great to finish games you either run him or battlemaster but not both i reckon.
I dont always agree with topsites and i myself have always been a deckbuilder.
I think wandthief is super underrated in this meta.

I am going to make burgle rogue work at any cost D next expansion.

Yeah I don’t play much Rogue, but ZachO’s list is fun and certainly gets the job done.

Lately it’s mostly been Fatigue Warlock, Libram Paladin and Mozaki Mage as far as what I queue up with.

I’d probably cut Vanessa because she’s too situational and can be played around. I believe Scabbs is underrated. You can fill a board using him and Foxy in a single turn. I like Wand Thief and would possibly add Parley for fun or Wandmaker. Also, Mr. Smite.

And yes! Wicked Stab is totally underrated.

I think the question is what do Stabs do? They win you games where you got pushed off the board. What else can win you games where you got pushed off the board? Bouncing your Quest Reward. But Bounces can also help you complete your Quest, where stabs just remove a thing.

It’s not a “Stab won me the game” if you’re in a situation where you needed Stab to win only because you weren’t running a better card in it’s place.

I can not even remember the last time I even saw a quest rogue.

Rogue can be fun, just not quest rogue which seems to need a perfect storm to do anything.

As much as I would love to put Tenwu in the deck (any rogue deck, really), it’s 1600 dust I can’t afford. I don’t have Scabbs either. Wicked Stab is probably worse than those two cards, but I suspect you’re only losing a small fraction of win % by using Stab.

Worrying trend that Rogue is headed down the Priest rabbit hole, where half or more of the class legendaries are just ‘too good’ not to use, even in a deck where more than 1/3rd of the card slots are already taken up by the quest and quest enablers.

I think burgle rogue will be tons of fun.
The other legendary card now that one if we get to it is an massive board swing.
