Mage is the only class who’s identity completely ignores the board.
Mage needs a complete rework.
Then don’t play mage.

How? a vast majority of their spells deal with the board… they can clear it, remove it, freeze it, remove it, burn it, transform it, slot machine randomize it. similar for its minions. they really arent exclusively some straight to enemy face only class.
Damn Mage is better than i thought, we completely ignore the board and have a history of being the best class in terms of board clears.
Mage is the gift that keeps on giving.

Sure thing.
This is why blizzard already did take the lead and gave the class paladin cards so they use small buffs.
Those buffs are not only stronger than older decks but due to being small synergize with a lot of older stuff.
That way no one has even reason to play non board centric decks as mage anymore.

i’m actually a mage one-trick!! when i wake up in the morning, I (forget to) shower, hop on hearthstone on my phone, and grind as many Time Warp wins as possible.
