I’ll admit the dev team is generally doing a pretty good job in balancing the game, even with today’s powercrept standards - big mana cheat and ridiculous OTKs have been changed/nerfed a lot recently, and the game is only better for it.
Which only makes me even MORE baffled to see that secret mage has remained unscathed throughout waves and waves of nerfs. A 6/6 on turn 2?? A board full of 5/5 and 4/4 (deal 2 damage to ALL enemies)??? Versatile secrets that counter just about any strategy??? If I run a tech card, it’ll be denied by an objection. If I focus my opponent’s board, they’ll get a full reload. If I try to heal, it will be countered. It is absolutely Ludicrous for this archetype to be so good and, if any dev is reading this, can you PLEASE explain why it hasn’t been touched? Aren’t you supposed to listen to player feedback?? Don’t you have the stats of people insta quitting when facing a mage in wild? Don’t you see that no streamer VODs include facing secret mage? Why are you so desperate to make your players go through such a one sided experience?
Are you talking about wild? You must be because in Standard it is not an issue.

Of courseeee man standard secret mage is a joke but it looks like the devs need their teeth torn out before banning/nerfing cards in wild
I absolutely agree with you, at high rank, secret mage IS everywhere and totally broken. Even other tier 1 decks struggle to defeat it … Pls Blizzard do something
