Hunter: the most frustrating class to play against?

I feel like there’s no point to what I do, ever.

When they board is empty and I play a minion, I still fear that it’s a mistake because they’ll somehow have a way to counter it whilst also making a big board for themselves.
It’s gone to a point where I don’t know which one specific card to complain about, because the thing is they all synergize too well, and they all do too many different things at once.
They have answers to everything, all the time. Cheap ones at that. They can counter any play for next to no mana, all while mauling your face with their hero power, a weapon and +5 damage to the face on kill command.

You have a beefy taunt minion and some other minions too, while they only have one Leokk left?
Somehow, you can be sure they’ll play a timber wolf, unleash the hounds, clear your whole board and THEN Revenge of the wild to hit you in the face for like 15 damage.

Watch as they spawn 5/5 rush Wyverns that you quickly have to deal with because of how much pressure a hunter puts on you in the first place, whilst also knowing that whatever card you used to kill that Wyvern is wasted because 1) it’s a twinspell and 2) they’ll come back with Zul’jin anyway.

Playing against hunter feels hopeless beyond belief.

is it me or you only make topics to complain about something?

Hunter is the ‘easy button’ of Hearthstone that usually escapes nerfs given to other classes in the same tier. It is the go to class for the oppressive aholes that inhabit this place.

I played some Quest Hunter last night because I thought it was mostly a meme deck. I saw it here and there, but a more refined list has made the rounds that looked kind of fun. Little did I know, Quest Hunter has been all the rage with various Twitch streamers and is likely going to be inescapable to play against for the next two weeks.

BTW: It’s actually a very solid deck, which I never would have expected of that Quest, and viable in ranked play.

Another post by an egomaniac class hipster lol. Cut your man bun and just relax, it’s a game.

Local player insults demographic for playing what they like in a video game. News at eleven.

Edit: For real though, I’m fairly certain that pretty much every class has been called out as “the least fun/most toxic/cancer” this meta alone, not even just in general. Hunters are here, Priest and Warrior (as well as Prismatic Paladin) are a given, Mage was receiving all the hate right up through the point it was nerfed into the ground, and Quest Shaman/Druid are common targets despite their Tier 2 WR and non-polarizing nature. This leaves us with basically Rogue (which I’m sure people would be whining about if the class hadn’t lost its kneecap privileges with the RoS nerf) and… Warlock?

That’s it. Warlock is the only playable class in the game right now. Everyone else is an ahole for doing anything else.

The point of videogames’ forums is to give feedbacks regarding said game.
If the game is perfect, there’s no point to give any feedback since nothing need to change. Therefore, feedback can only be negative by definition.
Sometimes, when a company that has kept f*cking up times and times again finally makes a great decision, you may see a positive feedback as the community cheers for what they perceive as a sign that things are going to change for the best, but that’s about it.

Lmao. Surely hunter has a stronger curve than priest? Or aggro warrior?

No? What about paladin? No again? OH MY.

Could it be that you’re just tilted and ignoring some very obvious things you can do to prevent hunter abusing your misplays?

Thanks for your obvious bias, may I ask for some more?

And you couldn’t possibly be biased, given your whine threads shift with the decks that you play?

Playing against Hunters just makes you a better HS player especially secret hunter. It teaches you timing and how to calculate each play to try and counter what the hunter is thinking your next move will be.

To answer the title question: it’s subjective. However, in my opinion, yes, Hunter is the most frustrating class to play against. It is almost always the most powerful class, never gets nerfed, and has tools to deal with everything. It’s an uncomfortable and tortured experience.

Hunter mage and druid needed a nerf back when rogue got it. Hunter still needs it. Druid could use one. Mage really doesn’t too much at this point since conjurer’s can’t be discovered from magic trick.

Mage is the worst class right now already. While Hunter have multiple T1/T2 decks even quest hunter which was seen as a joke before is really good now.

I can sort of understand Hunter because it’s had multiple dominant decks for a while, but why the hate for Druid? The only decks it has access to right now are both middle of Tier 2 and not very polarizing. Why would either of them need ot be nerfed?

Somebody’s new here.
/s

Token druid was incredibly braindead to achieve over a 50% WR with. The new treant twinspell should never have been printed because short of warrior nobody could clear what token druid was putting out without even having to put effort on the druid’s part. I still am never going to stop saying at least SR(and bloodlust for shaman) needs to go to the HoF and possibly Soul of the Forest as well.

Just to be clear…

We are complaining about quest hunter now?

Jesus, i didnt realize how garbage this place has been turning. We need a new sub forum so the trash players can all go cry about every last deck that exists as if 30 “OP” decks is a sign of Blizzard failing.

FFS.
