HSreplay just posted Winrate and Popularity of Paladin and Mage since Barrens Launch

Literally over 50% games are either Paladin or Mage.

These are also the only classes to have win-rates >50% out of the 10 classes.

Disgusting.

What he says doesn’t match what the stats show.

He only accounted for Legend and Diamond, which is a tiny fraction of the population.

Good now with official numbers im hoping for a spike in Paladin numbers since its by far the best deck, that will at best get a nerf to only the weapon and continue to crush the whole meta.

Just played 20 games with miscellaneous off meta decks and faced 10 mages and 2 paladins. Look at hsreplay list of most popular cards and they are mostly mage cards.

Diamond - Legend is kind of the baseline rank bracket you use with stats as players there tend to tryhard every single game to get into Legend.

Most player’s here are only using the very best decks so the performance is quite relevant.

If you want to know the truth, mage is even more popular in high legend with many streamers showing ~70% mages in their match-up spread for the day.

I hardly think the ranks matter as much as you think they do when it comes to data being ‘inaccurate’ as you imply.

You could look up stats for yourself and the results would be very similar across various rank ranges… there’s no mistake here.

I don’t really care who does what at which ranks, I am just pointing out his statement is incorrect.

He says “over 50% of decks played since FitB release have been Paladin or Mage”.

That is incorrect.

He got those stats looking solely at Legend and Diamond, stats that no longer hold true when looking at the much broader game. He should have made that clear, or at least annotated his message.

Meh, you can play semantics if you want… the stats don’t lie.

I’m just waiting for balance changes.

It’s not semantics is it, this isn’t about the words he used, it’s about leaving out information.

“50% of visitors to Disneyland Paris are families”

is not the same as

“50% of visitors to Disneyland Paris, during the holidays, are families”

Don’t bring Mickey Mouse into this.
