I just love when I get for 5 wins in arena pack as usual,40 or 50 gold and THE BEST EVER REWARD BUNCH OF SUPER COOL AWESOME ARCANE DUST,LET’S SAY,40 OR 50 ARCANE DUST!!!

5 wins isn’t good though, and dust is the worst reward in arena.
ive played for many years and ive never even played arena! who can afford 150 gold to play? its one of the p2w modes. only people that can afford that are p2w players. 150 gold that i could have bought a pack and a half of wild cards with? you must be joking. just so i can que up and get stomped by a p2w whos using the arena asist program and ques up using only the cards it reccomends each game? this is what p2w players do. its how they can benefit even further from a p2w system. budget players like me were just trying to grind out a pack or two a day before they destroyed that also. its truly game over for budget and f2p players after this latest patch and removal of gold grinding.
I agree with you,it is not some big achievement but it is still five wins and it is a shame that you get arcane dust for all wins that are three and more…and amount of gold that you get as a reward is ridiculous…I was hoping to get at least 70-80 gold so I can start another arena run,but no…50 gold and 45 arcane dust…once I even got as a reward for five wins RARE CARD and 50 gold like I had zero wins or 1-2 maybe…now I have 110 gold,I am at the beginning of lvl 36 so there is a long way to get enough xp for 200 gold on rewards track and here we go again on how braindead was blizzard’s idea about rewards track…
I play HS mostly 'cause of arena…I am f2p player and all gold I get from rewards and stuff I put into arena and by that I get one pack for sure no matter how good or awful I was at the end and still I have a chance to get more gold…I am not a pro player,my top win in arena is 9 but I have a fun playing it except in this situations.
Actually arena is the best mode for a f2p, it’s the best way to spend money in the game if you can afford to get at least 4 wins.
40 gold + 40 dust + 1 pack for the resource of 150 and 5 wins (15gold worth).
I’d say it still okay.
You are guaranteed to get a pack so you’re really only paying 50 gold to play arena… assuming you wanted the latest card pack, anyway. And while getting 7 wins to get your 150 back is kinda hard, you almost always make your 50 back, and then some, at least on average. Dust is also a lot more useful than people say, with duplicate protection you get all the commons and rares reasonably quickly and after that you’re just spending dust to make up the difference and build legendaries, and each pack is worth like 20-40 dust. So, if you’ve already gotten like 40 packs, 50 dust is frequently worth more than 50 gold. So, really, Arena is priced pretty reasonably and is often worth it. IF you’re going for the latest card packs. If you want older packs, yeah, Arena won’t help you much.
4 wins is where you “break even” and you basically bought a pack for 100 gold.
8 wins is where you get a free pack more or less.
All this means is that the majority of players are only slightly losing value on the average arena run.
However, arena now has better rewards than ever because you earn XP. You didn’t use to get 10g for 3 wins in arena which was the old “XP”.
It’s not as if xp is a great reward or anything. It’s not meant to be a reward, why do you folks settle with anything they give you? We should be getting XP if we’re playing against the frickin’ innkeeper for all I know.
It’s the best way to grind if you are good at the game and the worst if you are bad. It’s all a matter of perspective.
