How would you change this meta?

They aren’t because of the habitual powercreep.

Still the experience against then is dumb.

It’s too fast… it isn’t strategic.

I’m playing to survive 5 turns? That’s not fun in any ACG

False.

They aren’t meta because Reno got buffed after the (people) that like control warrior and control priest and reno piles of junk all cried so hard and so long that Blizzard relented.

Destroying Reno decks was about the only reason they were ever meta.

It’s honestly one of the best decks they’ve ever made. It was effective, but not over powered.

Your dislike is preference, not some factual assessment.

They stomp on decks that try to draw out a combo or try to go to fatigue. Something that gives both of those the middle finger is fantastic. I wish it was still meta.

They put players on a clock, and there’s nothing wrong with that. They aren’t cheating out stuff. They don’t flood the board. They incrementally increase the risk of drawing cards, which is pretty cool, tbh.

To build on your theme of nuance, I’d add that having a deck become very popular is kind of the natural life cycle of a healthy meta. With the next cycle being that deck being targeted into the ground by decks that counter it. Then those counters get countered and you arrive at meta diversity by no one being quite in synch on what deck they should be playing.

I love when a deck becomes super prevalent, but only if I have the tools to build counter decks.

It really isn’t about the clock either.

Cards are meant to be played.

And you can play all your cards because it doesn’t destroy any of your cards. They aren’t tickatus or boomboss

Plagues are great and you’re just salty because they ruin mages trying to draw and draw and draw.

We are talking wild now?

Because i really don’t see mages trying to draw like that in other formats.
