My build can easily just lose the game because I don’t draw minions. How do I fix this?
I guess I can also lose to aggro easily; Pen Flinger is the main defense if I can play it enough times. Suggestions?
I don’t have Cleric of Scales, but when it works Pen Flinger is very much part of the win condition.

I don’t think there’s enough broken stuff for this deck to be great, but it’s fun to play.
Honestly the best answer is to play something other than rally priest. It’s a really weak archetype.

I’ve come to the conclusion that you must be a chosen one to succeed in tier. You and another player can have the exact same deck, play it the exact same way, but if you are stuck in the bad RNG group then you’ll spend the xpac at gold level while your twin ends up legendary.
I thought I read that the match up patent Blizzard Inc is using was deemed illegal but apparently not.
Ever since Activision joined Blizzard, Priests have been a challenge to play, both in WoW and hearthstone. They have their shining moments but don’t fall in love because it’s like an abusive relationship. You stay for the good but finally leave when it becomes unbearable.

I think you’re too all-in on Rally. Try adding other win cons like Galakrond and maybe some bigger value minions as well. Things like Illucia and Murazond (if you have them) are amazing surprises when played early.
It’s almost enough to make me want to craft Illucia after dusting her for the nerf.

Agree 100%. Unfortunately I don’t own these 2, but on my list you could sub them for the Frazzled Freshman and it would be stronger.
They’re using the patent?
Are you seeing the opponent’s deck list after you lose like the patent claims?
Because that never happens to me.
There are lots of other threats you could include. Basically you need some bombs so you can drop them after the opponent spends lots of time clearing your little boards.
Why don’t you have Galakrond? It’s free. While it’s not perfect for every deck, I recommend Galakrond for most value-based priest decks. You don’t even need invokes. Killing a minion and gaining infinite streams of minions is plenty.

Yeah I was talking ilucua and murazond. I think these would be the 2 to play, especially because murazond can easily be reduced by studies. Ilucia is really good with otk mage, otk dh, etc warrior, tickatus. This deck can pack some great value as is, but you have to to get lucky with your discovers and sethekk. Galkarond would help in case you don’t.
I was thinking about reduction via Bloodweaver. I’ve played a turn 5 Murazond vs. token druid followed by a breath of the infinite. Auto-concede LOL.

I had reasonable success with this list I put together. (Hovered around Diamond 1 with it last month, fell just short of legend a few times)

In general, it’s better to have more minions than more spells. Minions don’t require other cards to be played, so lean more towards them and only keep the spells you can’t live without.
No reader? What do you do when you run out of gas?
Kill them before that happens.
I find reader itself to be a slow play, not draw much even when played, weaken rally, and not turn around games where I fell behind.
The deck focuses on building and protecting a board with powerful threats rather than constantly refreshing negligible ones.
Sethekks and raise dead are how I tend to avoid running fully out of gas.

Lads and lasses - just a fast question:
Have you tried to use Quest+Rally+Injured Tolvir+Blademaster for example?
Atm I am trying to build some meme priest and that idea of Rally kinda feel pretty attractive to me.
I have already tried Rally + Mana Reservoir + Arcane Watcher “combo”
and while its hilarious when you buff the Mana Reservoir with Inner Fire for some unexpected burst, its way too far from being consistent.
So I was wondering if that quest could work for some nice buffed board midgame.
There’s only one way to find out.
I don’t have the quest so I won’t be the one doing the experiments.

Lol Just forget about standard priest. Theres nothing, NOTHING it can do that other decks aren’t doing twice as well. It’s only unique style is resurrect, and it’s for trolling. I have made plenty of full hands of randomly generated cards reduced to 0-mana and STILL have no play to make. So you made a 10/10 Blood that summons a 5/5/ Vargoth that summons a 10/10 veilweaver? Pfft, Warlock deletes your entire class with 4 mana, 3 to 4 times over in a single game.
There’s literally no point. Besides trolling that is.
Wow, thanks, this definitely looks stronger than mine. I will for sure give it a try. I’m thinking of trying to toy with gift of luminance, since if you can stick that on a sethekk, opponent will be having a bad day
I have tried these two without the quest and it’s just too slow. They got squeezed out of deck for other cards

It’s fun to screw around with veilweaver, but you have to be a really lucky sob to see it live until your next turn. The problem lies about the fact that the shining moment of the deck is to be able to make it stick on the board. If you tempo play it, 50%+ of time it will be removed on spot. The other 50% you might not have even anything to follow up next turn because of lack of spells, which will eventually turn it into a combo card for late game value, which in turn defeats the purpose of it being a “tempo” deck. I’d rather it was a 1/4 rather than a 2/3.
It’s fine to play sethekk as tempo.
People will panic remove it.
Same thing with Nazmani.
Then rally/raise dead comes down and they are both back, this time with the removals used.
I only generally hold back a sethekk if I have a renew to use on it for double generation, or something else to do with a buff like power word feast waiting.
It’s a decent 2 drop with snowball potential, much like crabrider, although crabrider outright wins games if the opponent can’t remove it before a buff and a psyche split lands on it.
