How many of each is the best to use mercenaries

I like the new mode between fighter and protector what is generaly strongeest i know speed is important.
Also do some ppl run balanced compesitins with two of each or is better to specialize and just have like 1 spellcaster.

Right now my build is working very well for me on PVP. Is as follows:

Malfurion (Fighter)
Thrall (Fighter)
Anacondra (Protector)
Rexxar (Protector)
Brukkan (Caster)
Guff (Caster)

I speed up every nature ability with Malfurion thus letting me go first 95% of the time and bump up the nature spell damage with Brukkan.

Guff will do the Combo and it’s just uphill from there. With spell damage and Guff I have wrecked most fighters that same turn.

I also have a Human build with

Cariel
Cornelious
VarĂan
Tyrande
Uther
Arwyn

Try the Nature though. It’s wrecks havoc.

I haven’t faced her many times so I can’t really say. I’ve seen her like 1-2 times if that. I’ve seen a lot of Xyrellas and Samuros. That’s just coming from me though. I can’t say what other people have faced. What build are you going for as of now?

At the moment i think i will use 2 protector 3 figher and 1 caster.

I when looking 4 advice on anything related to HS go to hearthstonetopdecks; here below I linked one of the many guides you may need(they keep it simple and their point of view(s) are quite on the spot.

Some mercs look like they’ll only really shine when maxed out, like Sylvanas IMO.
Illidan is another one.

Any time they have abilities that keep increasing in speed all the way to level 5, you know they are “end-game” mercs.

Good lineup! I’m definitely a fan of nature-synergy in mercs. Haven’t played with Rexxar, might try him out. However, I believe you have the Fighter and Protector classes mixed on your list. Malf/Thrall are Protectors, Ana/Rexxar are Fighters

So I would say I was rather unlucky, but also f2p doesn’t help, so my builds are very “limited” - but from what I do have. That works somehow…

Alexstrasza - Red
Brightwing - Blue
Baron Geddon - Blue
Ragnaros - Red
Tavish Stormpike - Green
Rathorian - Green

Comp Breakdown

Tavish Stormpike - all rounder and solid stand alone character.

Alexstrasza + Brightwing = dragon combo for Alexy to burn 3 minions at once normally ( see below for other weapon)

Alexstrasza + Baron Geddon + Ragnaros = Fire combo’s for days and can swarp into a other team comp

Rathorian - He falls under “all rounder” - and the hulks he summons literally can steal games if someone doesn’t nuke him down/AoE down

i seen you for few rounds,
nice game by the way.

pretty sure you bring antonidas to your game ?
or is it someone else ?

i tried to aim ragnaros and lose,
should have stick to aim antonidas first.

maybe i mistook you for someone else.

Maybe? I don’t pay too much attention at names at all to be honest.

That might be someone else, I don’t even own that fella, so I have no fireballs to throw.

I think you would be thinking of someone else if they had a Toni, I don’t have him yet.

yeah, i mistook you for someone else today.
i meet bunch of antonidas and the gang.

also conceded 4 times from same person,
because we are using exactly same stuff, but i didn’t wear my equipment while he on all 4.

might be cause of the latest topdeck report showing Toni in the builds.

Yes, you’re right. I mixed it up. Thank you for catching the slip up for me . Yeah, the nature synergy is ridiculous. At least on my end.

Interesting. I find Rathorian to be the weakest link, even in a Demon party. IMO SCabbs works better. You got Tavish and brightwing that can Combo with his attack.

He’s normally the “sniper” and to take abit the hits as the final push - and the demon he summons can help “annoy the board” type of thing.

“Fel Command 5 : Gain +5 Attack. Deal this Mercs Attack damage to an enemy.” - normally the 1 cooldown is not needed w/ 1 the frontliners being the others, so when he drop down I can use this right away. By increasing his attack (and with Brightwing maybe increasing it) - you can sometimes get a deadly sniping power of 1 hit on most blues, if they ignore Brightwing too long, while he gets buff.

Also if you have “Demonic Ashes” max’d that is +10 attack on the demon you summon, and a max hulk is 10/16, so your sending a 20/16 into a randon guy normally - and if it kill it, it’ll attack again. A good last “pusher”.

I had games where people ignore my brightwing cause I made more annoying boards like Baron Geddon + Alexstrasza + Brightwing - Where I just kinda blow up the board with AoE damage, - Alexstra shooting guys in the middles (her 2nd ability if a dragon on board she hit the neighbors (Flame Buffet 5 does 16 damage each not including if a crit) and then Baron Geddon just AoE the board with fire combo’s off Alex.

So I go from a Element Fire build, swap into dragon, to 2 strong standalone guys, 1 summons demons that can snipe kills if it get buff’s, and Tavis, is Tavis - he can be use to keep a fire chain , or snipe, or both.

I’ll tell you tho putting a 20+ attack Rath and over 100 hp, has made some people quit when most their board been getting blown up/AoE it’s pretty great.

I see your point.

My Rath is at abilities level 3, with no equipment. Other mercs at similar levels provide much more value.

I’d rate Rathorian as an end-game merc then. Only shines when abilities and equipment are maxed.

He works well with any “buff” setup you can say, and is a final showstopper - the equipment makes him a support demon person, or you just focus on his nuke power w/ buff and the Demon he can summon - and with it having a solid 20 attack it’s like a Blademaster Samuro Mirror Image minus the weakness/crit chance (unless you make their character weak to all damage) and doesn’t disappear after a turn and don’t need to “ramp up attack”.
