i feel like i’m being a big baby but at the same time i can’t stand being in a completely unfun match.
Like, if i see i’m playing against a class a have a low win rate on (shaman/hunter) and I don’t draw what I need on turn 1 it’s just an auto quit.
Same with token druid. although i have over a 50% win rate against druid if he plays a full hand turn 2 with irondeep mind troggs, i’m over it even at 2 mana.
I also auto quit if duke is played. 1 time duke actually won me the game because the other player for some reason traded me death wing. Most of the time though it takes my something i needed for next turn.
Irondeep trogg is one of the most anti fun cards imo.
I also had a full day where literally every. single. time. patchwork was played it took the exact cards every single time all 15+ times i saw him played to the point i literally felt like you could target cards. even with a 1/9 patchwork took the minion.

For me it’s basically zero. I never auto concede and I don’t think there’s really a good reason to do so in most cases. Even really bad matchups have at least more than 20% wr so why give up on that 1 in a 5 chance automatically? I just make up my mind that I will probably lose and get it done.
I understand some matches are just unfun and some people may want to prioritize fun over wr tho; so that’s just my point of view.

So my question is, how are you ever going to become better if you just give up? You’ll never learn to overcome a deck if you just quit on turn 1. That’s fine if you’re just playing for fun, but if you’re looking to climb, you’re going to face decks you don’t like going up against. It will be very difficult to figure out how to work around certain decks if you don’t allow yourself the opportunity to.

I dont auto concede, but I agree there are more matches completely devoid of fun, at times it feels by design. For me it’s generally druids, warlock or any other stupid greedy deck that makes me wish i had never started the game in the first place. Honestly this meta is one of the least fun I have ever experienced. My play time has been reduced to 1-2 games a day at most because of this. Meta is just crap, powercreep has gone too far, and this causes me to not blame you one bit for auto concede. The meta was basically designed for you to do that.
Trying to make hearthstone anything remotely competitive is a joke. The game is a slot machine even at the highest levels of play. Winning HS is not a skillful accomplishment like it used to be. It should be fun or dont bother playing.

i’ll auto-quit if i have to leave sooner than i thought or if i’m in a hurry and wanna get the match done and the person isn’t finishing me when they have the chance.
As for at the very start of the match on the other hand, not likely to happen unless i’m goofing off with a gimmick deck and didn’t get the cards i wanted to start with.
I will auto concede if the match is not fun. Too many of these matches are decided by turn 5 regardless of what you do. The time I have to play I choose to use playing fun matchups. Frost DK, Aggro Mage, Aggro Druid, Ramp Druid, Implock and Curse Implock, these all get a free win once I hit D5. The fun I get from the game is the match itself, not the win. I dont get paid to win.

Ummm at legend I just auto quit against most of the time Rogue’s an Frost DK. Both of those are just not fun. I have seen the same regurgitative frost spells just throw at face over an over. Literally nothing new, an Rogue is exactly the same openers all the time.
It’s always gnolls, the 2 mana spell, Potion making spell, into the 1 cost fishing spell with dredge an draw, followed up by potionmaster. It’s boring, seen it a million times, just tired of the class.

Frost DK couldn’t really have any other play pattern at the moment. They only have a small set of cards.
In this meta, none. Last expansion, I had to be in the mood to play against Quest Priest. If I faced 5 in a row, I’d go do something more fun, like taxes.

Sees frost DK, hits auto concede in hopes that if enough people do it they will finally nerf it
Here’s my hot take
I don’t auto-concede. You may hate a certain deck(s)/card(s), but you’ll never learn how to react/play against them if you don’t play against them. If I’m reaching the point where I’m tempted to just click the red button, then I know I’m done playing because it isn’t fun anymore. It isn’t worth playing a GAME if it’s going to frustrate you.
100%
I’ve quit for the time-being. I just hate this meta.
So many awful highroll decks that I just end up annoyed and not having fun
I have never autoconceded. That’s not how I think.
hmm if a friend or familiy comes by
or if i have to go to the bathroom
i only concede when something or someone outside the game requires my attention
If it goes past turn 6 or 7 on a hyper aggro deck, you have already lost. So I quit about that point.
I only auto concede when I have something to do irl.
If you’re not a player, then why are you commenting here?
I stopped playing the day the patch was released and have played 3-4 games.
I hope there is another patch before the end of the month, so I can get to legend. Not motivated to play ATM.
Im playing imp Warlock in standard and I SHOULD autoquit when I see a DK, but I take the beating usually.
