How does Fizzle work now?

A little confused. Does it mean that it can only take one snapshot/game? So if i shudderblock it it only puts one in my deck right? Does it also mean it can only refill your hand once/game? Both? If i make multiple copies of the snapshot via triangulate can I still get to use them all or can they only be used once per game?

From what i understand from the patch notes…the intended interaction with fizzle should be ONE snapshot that has cards in it. You can “make” as many snapshots as you want, but only that very first one will produce cards in hand. Every subsequent snapshot played will be a 2 mana, do nothing spell.

I am hoping that snapshots created by other means(shudder, suitcase, etc.) Will still allow infinite endgame in wild but i havent had time to test it yet.

Shudderblocking fizzle should shuffle in three snapshots, but only the first one played should produce cards. The other two should “fizzle”, i.e. 2mana do nothing spell

Ok so i guess instead of putting one snapshot in my deck from shudderblock it would still put 3 in there but only the 1st one used would work then you have a bunch of useless spells…

Both the battlecry and snapshot is limited to once per game.

So shudderblock + Fizzle would only shuffle 1 snapshot in.

If you use triangulate to make more copies of the snapshot, only the first will give cards.

Right, because the battlecry itself is also once per game. I missed that. Thanx

Keep in mind it can still be a good play from time to time

Shuffling 3 copies of fizzle can guarantee discovering one with triangulate

You won’t shuffle 3 with shudderblock. The battlecry is also once per game. Blizz hit both halves.

Triangulate will still dig it from the deck, but the extra copies are dead draws.

And, the stats don’t lie. It seems to have dropped at least 10% win rate which means pretty much the death of the advantage of a card usually.
