My minions attack taunts first, then left to right on my screen. Seems everyone else follows no pattern other than taunts first. How do I target certain minions like everyone else?
You can’t; actually, no one can, unless the minion has a special text (like "attack the enemy with the lowest attack)

Unless I have one of the rigged in my favor boxes checked somewhere in my account… I keep winning and winning and it’s pretty clear that attack is random.

That’s why Battlegrounds is called an “auto-battler” or “auto-chess”; it’s part of the genre where you can’t directly target your attacks; you have to just sit back and watch them be automatically carried out.

all the attacks after taunts are destroyed are random.
the one exception here is tier 6 minion Zapp Slywick which has the ability to target the minion with the lowest attack (even by-passing taunts). generally people use him the snipe a Barron, or one of those shooter minions.

No you don’t.
You see confirmation bias and ignore the random in your favor.
Record your play and share it if you suspect something is amiss. We’d all love to watch a good cheating video.
Besides, you haven’t even specifically explained how you think this “cheating” is being done and no one else agrees with you.

This is a good question as I find the AI frustratingly stupid but then again, it’s a mechanic that can be evolved through tactics and passives.
