How do I get more Classic mode cards

I just tried playing classic mode for the first time today and went to check what decks I can build and I can’t build any without spending lots of dust. I have only been playing hearthstone for a little over 3 months, but how the heck do I get cards from 2014 ? If I have to buy a ton of wild packs/adventures it seems like starting all over again. I incorrectly assumed all of the cards would be there, but NOPE ! I don’t mind spending a little money but if it is going to cost hundreds I may just forget about it. Any advice?

I think there are classic packs which contain only legacy cards (aka classic cards)

so besides specific expansion, there are 3 special packs you could also get

  1. Standard packs (current rotation cards)
  2. Wild packs
  3. Classic packs (classic (legacy) cards only)

But aren’t wild packs from years other than 2014 ?
