Both these tasks say “use ability x n times”, but only some uses count.
For task 9, “deal 14 damage or 21 vs class x” only the ones where you get the bonus seem to count.
For task 10, I’m not sure which ones count, but some do more don’t.
From what I saw the cutthroat negotiatons tasks only count one use per combat for progress.
I was getting 2 per (usually in 4 turn fights), I’m pretty sure about task 9, I suspect it’s something like only when you change the role to one of the three that counts in turn 10.
