Hipster is discovering cards that ARE in my deck. My opponent played Hipster and chose Death Strike, which was in my deck.

Then I’m very confused what actual bug you thought you were reporting.
If I’m understanding correctly, Hipster discovered Death Strike, after OP had already drawn the card (which means it was no longer in their deck). OP believed that Hipster’s ability excluded all cards starting in the deck instead of just the current deck.
So no, OP isn’t reporting a bug, just a misinterpretation of the ability.
Other guy got it right. I read the card as discovering cards that didn’t START in the deck, not just that aren’t currently present. I was running Death Strike.
