Particularly in Wild, there is simply no drawback at all to Highlander decks.
I can only speak for me, but I am really tired of a deckstyle that is supposed to be handicapped by inconsistency, but instead has an answer for everything.

What if Highlander decks could only have one highlander/start with no duplicates card? There can only be one, after all. So either yoy choose Reno hero, or Brann, but not both. It’ll never happen but it would be interesting

I mean, eventually wild is just going to have so many payoff cards that most of the cards in your deck are going to be extra powerful because you are running a highlander list of all highlander legendaries.
That’ll be fun.

It’s possible now to run a list of all legendaries including some highlander payoffs. Hero power pass until turn 5 priest can win long games unless the opponent runs something that mills or deletes their deck

I’m just imagining an eventual 30 card deck that every card says “if your deck has no duplicates, do overpowered thing”
I’d wanna play that. I love dumb overpowered things sometimes
Highlander decks are fun and pretty decent, but they don’t win games as often as normal decks.
So no, they are not busted, not even close

Its not an opinion… according to the latest vicious syndicate report, of the tier1 legend decks, none are highlander.

Highlander decks are everywhere in Wild, and they have no real drawbacks anymore.
Plenty of decks that were not tier 1 have been nerfed for far less.
Not in wild though. Those have to be basically game destroying to get nerfs.
