You have to hover over it to learn what it does? for what purpose?
The charm of the game is the feeling of a real card game, the way you move cards around, even in your hand, and you see your opponent moving his cards, like a real life card game.
Then comes those cards that have nothing in it? breaking the “immersion” of a card game and making annoying to get information about the card.
It’s a type of card that have no space for a text, i’ve seen it on a version of Void Ray, but not all Void rays are like that.
There’s a Kobolt with a pickaxe that always seems to come in that version.
Yes I tend to agree with this. If time in a turn was not an issue, I think hovering over and reading wouldn’t be bad.
But because they made time per turn one of the main reasons you can lose in this game (on a complex turn, even in a typical deck, you can easily run out of time) the fact that this just adds ontop of the issue highlights just how bad they have made teh UI.
The other egregious aspect of the UI are the forced animations, some of which can take seconds to resolve, when seconds is all you got to make a turn.
Yep, it’s quite unsettling at certain times. There should definetely be an option that you can turn them off. I mean people buy them for themselves, not for flexing to others.
When you see the same minions a million times you remember them by heart. When you see the random signature once a while it’s rather distracting having to constantly figure out what it is and what it does.
Funny enough when hearthstone launched devs constantly said that it’s really important to have card/art consistency for easy recognition and immediate understanding. Then they introduced signatures which are the polar opposite of that. But selling a fix pixels for 50bucks won out I guess.
