Hey lets do something with Keywords except not!

Yeah, it would be great if the BG keyword Anomaly actually worked.

Playing a Refresh Anomaly while having 1 on your board should give it 2/2 for matching 2 keywords, except it only gives 1/1.

Playing a Manasaber with an Annoy-o-Droid on your board should give it 1/1 except it gives 0/0.

It’s like they don’t even know the mechanics they made or how they function.

I don’t know if anything else in the Anomaly is busted, probably, but I immediately quit after those 2 failures. Not playing a mode if it’s clearly junked.

I didnt understand any of what you just said is “busted” Nor do I think Anomaly is an actual keyword. (Like BattleCry [Non Spell Card: Action taken when played from hand] is a keyword, but Joust [You and your opponent draw a card and reveal them, the higher cost card owner wins the Joust event] is not officially a keyword but it is an established mechanic of the game.

So can you describe what you are encountering a little more clearly? Your sentence structure makes it a bit difficult to parse what you are trying to say. For me at least.

Anomaly isn’t a Keyword lol. The Keywords would be “Battlecry” and “Refresh” and hint, Keywords are bold on the card. So yes, it is busted.

What does this even mean? What Refresh Anomaly? What is giving a 1/1? Why should whatever it is be giving a 2/2?

Again, what is it?

The OP is referring to the anomoly The Keys to Victory.

The Keywords a minion can have are Avenge, Battlecry, Deathrattle, Divine Shield, Poisonous, Reborn, Spellcraft, Stealth, Taunt, Venomous and Windfury.

The OP is under the false impression that having anything in bold in a minion’s text box means that the minion has that Keyword. Refresh, for example, is not a Keyword a minion can have. There is no such thing as a minion with Refresh, Annoy-o-Droid has no keywords itself, Brann is not a Battlecry minion, etc.

So this thread is OP saying

when the person who doesn’t understand is Rocap.

Im still lost as to how any of the keywords affect the minions as far as giving you a 1/1 instead of an expected 2/2? Just going off what they complained about and thank you for filling me in on that anomaly, never encountered it before. There are seemingly a bunch of them Ive never seen or heard of because the game WONT stop giving the same 3 or 4…

Assuming you are referring to Annoy-O-Tron, one has Deathrattle, the other has Divine Shield and Taunt. Manasaber does not physically have taunt, even if it summons minions with taunt.

Ugh. The lack of an Oxford comma is killing me here.

That said, carry on.

Right, sorry, forgot you work for Blizzard, Scrotie. Should have asked you if I cared enough.

If it uses it, it should be included. I’m not the one typing code, just buying the things that say “free buffs” without getting free buffs. It’s not on me to care about fine print when you put everything in bold and give me 20 seconds to figure out what you meant when you put it there.

It is on you to read the fine print.

I would, but my dude, the fine print isn’t there. It’s on some WiKi Fandom with all the other datamined mechanics. It’s clearly not displayed on the card and it’s not like there’s an info button in the game. There should be, but you can’t have randoms and fandoms with access to the backend.

I bet you can get in the backend, or at least the backdoor. Do something useful with your keycard and go put it in the suggestion box. It has a big X on it now but it’s not a deterrent it’s just a Microsoft thing.

You’re making this out to be way more complicated than it actually is.

A minion does NOT have a keyword if that keyword is in a sentence. So Surf and Turf does NOT have Deathrattle, it creates a Spellcraft that grants Deathrattle. Surf and Turf DOES have Spellcraft though, which isn’t in the sentence so much as preceding it.

If a minion actually has a keyword, it isn’t in a sentence. So Annoy-o-Module has the Divine Shield, Magnetic and Taunt keywords.

There are no bugs here, you’re just being confused for no reason.

Edit: also if you don’t see the skull icon on a minion it doesn’t have Deathrattle, if it doesn’t have the wind it doesn’t have Windfury, if it doesn’t have the shield behind it it doesn’t have Taunt, and if it doesn’t have a light bubble it doesn’t have Divine Shield. Reborn also has a clear visual indicator. For the most part you can actually see when minions have keywords.
