I just got rank 50. What does everyone think are the best hero skins? Currently trying to decide between Thrall, Guldan and Valeera. Personally, I think Guldan looks the coolest, tho I play Shaman the most (tho not currently), but I have alternate skins for them I like (Nemsy and Lady Vash). I don’t have any alt heros for Rogue.
They don’t give any new voice, lines or animations, right?
Which one did you guys pick?
I personally can’t decide. I’ve ruled out Demon Hunter and Warlock since their golden portraits are far better. Thrall and Valeera are meh to me, the way they’re positioned just has them at a weird angle and their colors wash out their features.
Hunter looks great, but I personally have Sylvanas as my portrait. Alleria is also better too, so consider that if you don’t have an Alt Portrait for Rexxar. The 1k Portrait for Hunter sucks too, so it’s a decent alternative.
Mage looks good, but there’s like 50 Jaina Portraits at this point. I’ve personally set aside Medivh as my Mage. I’d consider Mage since I don’t have any of the fifty Jaina portraits offered previously.
Anduin looks pretty good. Warrior is OK. Druid is OK.
Illidan, Garrosh, and Malfurion are my favorites.
You could pick Valeera if you’re sick of only having the same 3 skins for Rogue, but I personally don’t like that one.
I’m a bit disappointed that I chose Warrior tbh because I prefer the Valkyrie skin to the one at the end of the pass. I chose it because I hit legend with Warrior and mained it during the battlepass so I thought that was “fair” haha.
I really liked Shaman and Warlock the most tbh but I don’t play Shaman and I rarely play Warlock and probably wont until they have a viable control deck again.
All in all I was happy with the choice of skins though, I think there was something for everyone.
Guldan looks weird (the eyes) plus already have nzoth
Shaman is cool but already have a bunch of skins.
Valeera for me as Rogue has very few skins. The rest look garbage except warrior but already have better skins.
Malfurion, Uther and Jaina are the only ones I like.
It’s probably between Thrall and Valeera for me. I have the 500 win Gul’dan skin and would like to use that one more often now.
I went with Hunter since it was the only class (not counting DH cause bleh) that I do not have an alternate hero skin and still play the class.
Valeera and Rexxar because they look like actual improvements over those classes’ 1k portraits. 1k portraits for the other classes are way cooler than the choices for lvl50 IMO.
I went with Garrosh since it was a warrior deck I had the most fun with around when I got it

The jaina skin is kinda sick
dh: 3, druid: 5, hunter: 5, mage: 9, pal: 6, priest: 4 , rogue: 3, sham: 9, warlock: 5, war: 6 so it’d make sense to pick dh or rogue
and the fiery jaina still looks better !
I got to Level 50 yesterday, and I chose Uther. I like the big book he’s holding. I’d been using Sir Annoy-O before, but I’ve been getting bored with him. I don’t really like any of the other Level 50 portraits.
Thematically, Uther is a better match for my Wild “Silver Hand Guys” deck that I’ve really been enjoying lately. I’ll still use Sir Annoy-O for my Murloc Paladin deck, though.
I went with Warlock, because it differs the most from stock.

Uther lv50 is good. 1000 wins also shiny. Horseman Uther kinda rare so its the most anti-mainstream stuff you could chose. Arthas if you really like the guy lore. Annoy-o really cool to use once in a while. The new one should have been a priest portrait.
Tho, I personally use Liadrin. I still have secret paladin, and greeting emote the moment I slamming MC is still da best.

I really liked the rogue skin but I’ve not been playing rogue much. I went with the shaman.
