As the title states, allow me to provide some context…
I just recently fought against a Warrior in Standard: Ranked. Coincidently during this match, for some reason during the animation of a TNT against my deck, the game bugged. I had a card that was being destroyed stuck on my screen, and then I disconnected and reconnected to the game. When you reconnect to games, it does not show you what cards your opponent has played prior to the disconnect, only ones that have been played after you’ve reconnected. When I reconnected, my opponent cleared my board of a Reborn Yogg, a 4/4 Legendary, and 1 other minion with some decent stats. Not only were they able to clear my board, but they were also in the process of DISCOVERING & SUMMONING FIVE LEGENDARY MINIONS. I don’t know the name of this card, I don’t know how this player got their hands on said card, and I don’t even know what to look up to understand this card and its mechanics to understand how my board was cleared and they were able to do all of this, with only having spent 7 mana.
Can anyone please inform if such a card exists in this game that can discover and summon 5 legendaries, and how might a Warrior be able to remove a 4/4 minion, a Yogg with Reborn, and another minion with decent stats all within the same turn and only having spent 7 mana? The player used their remaining mana to get a copy of their TNT Legendary with Zola the Gorgon. Was this player cheating?
I believe you were playing against a standard meta warrior. The five legendaries can be cast from the Azerite Ox after playing Brann. The warrior is adept at destroying all minions on board with spells and a Brawler minion from the excavate package. I’m fairly certain they were not cheating, though it may feel very unfair how they won.
Wow, thank you so much as that clears up a lot of my confusion. I haven’t played this game for quite some time so I’m unfamiliar to lots of things although I watch streams. I was not aware the player had even excavated up to that point and they did in fact play Brann. I noticed that was the case when facing this warrior, that they were very adept at clearing my board. Warrior has always been strong late game.
That’s exactly what something with programming would say or read from a script. I’m on to you.
How interesting:
A form of severe social withdrawal, called hikikomori, has been frequently described in Japan and is characterized by adolescents and young adults who become recluses in their parents’ homes, unable to work or go to school for months or years.
Heh. I don’t think you’re literally a.i… It is just my humorous way of saying something here is suspicious.
But why would being a.i. be flattering? Doth you protest to hate humanity that much? Maybe not assume the gender of the poster, then. Refer to it as “that human.”
If someone succeeded at penetrating Blizzard’s security to the point of being able to manipulate data on their game servers, I guarantee you that making you lose won’t even be on their list of things to do with that access.
