Hearthstone wont start on iOS

EDIT Working now. I tried opening it again and received a message “we were unable to login you in please restart the application”. Once I did that it worked. Not sure if someone at blizz saw this message and forced my account to the app to make me relog or what… but its working

I have an ipad pro 2022. Since update 29.0 yesterday Hearthstone will not start. I open the app and its stuck on the page with the doors with the fire light behind it… I have tried:

  1. restarting the app
  2. restarting my ipad
  3. uninstall and reinstall the app

Also doesnt work on my iPhone… Works fine on my mac

I have the same issue. my Hearthstone app doesn’t load on my iPhone and my iPad app no longer has battlegrounds as an option.

I am having this issue now. Can’t seem to find a fix for it either.

Same here, just updated the app and now it’s stuck on the tavern doors screen.

Same here. HS won’t load on an iPad or iPhone. Tried restarting the game and device. Also tried reinstalling. Happened after updating the app.

When I open app, I just keep getting “Please restart the application” with a scheduled maintenance message in the background. I’ve done all of the ios troubleshooting suggestions. Close. Restart. Delete. Reinstall. And the game will not start up for anything.

My family and I are stuck at the tavern doors after upgrading our 9th gen iPads to iOS 18. We deleted and redownloaded the app. Nothing. Restarted our iPads. Still nothing. Anyone have any ideas (besides buying new iPads)?

I just got a new iPhone and the issue is still ongoing. I don’t recommend buying new hardware as the issue persists for me. It’s freaking annoying.
