A suggestion i have for battlegrounds. At the start of the game and after choosing your hero, players should be able to vote for minion types they want to play then at least 2 of the most voted for are included in the game.
This way players have more fun playing the minion types they want and the developers can then buff the least picked minion types and so on.

This wouldn’t work. The pool players can pick the heros from is influenced by the minion types which are available during a matchup.
Certain heros are not available when certain minion types are available during a matchup.
Also certain heros are only present if a specific minion type is present.
Quillboar hero with Blood Gem hero power => Quillboars are available.
Starting from turn one focusing on playing a single tribe over menagerie for tempo is a bad way to play BG’s. Finding the combos of the random tribes together is a big part of the enjoyment of BG’s.
